Best Vietnamese restaurant in Canada

J	Jaimie Swain on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Originally called to ask about gluten free accommodations, the staff were pretty helpful for that. Then placed the order online through the website. That process was fairly streamlined and not too bad. We ordered pickup and got our food. Brought it home and ate it and can honestly say pretty disappointed. I got vermicelli and it had like zero flavour. It’s like they just chopped everything up, cooked the vermicelli and chucked it in the box, no flavouring. The meal was still warm when I opened it but between no flavour and how tough the meat was I didn’t even finish half of it. My boyfriend said his meal was subpar as well. Not sure if this is just cause it’s takeaway or what. But for almost $50 for the both of us I’d say that it’s either way overpriced for what you get or the food is very meh. Either way not worth your time. The Golden Bell in Bridgeland is absolutely amazing though, especially for gluten free folks. We’ll just go there from here on out.

The sate beef and spring rolls were great, the rolls were fresh out of the frier and I got served in really good time. I would recommend for a quick lunch or to stop in for supper on your beltline walk.

Good portion for the price you pay. My only gripe was the smell of the place, not sure from the furniture or freshly painted walls. Not enough for me to dock stars since it isn't a permanent thing (I hope)

They put a little extra care into every aspect of their dishes right down to the size and cut of the meat and vegetables. And the sauces aren't just " run of the mill" bland sauces you'll find in many Vietnamese joints, they are bursting with flavor. Every meal from here whether it be dinein, take out or delivery is fresh, flavorful,inspired and will get you out of your boring ordering take out rut. their sate beef soup is one of the best in the city with the broth so creamy and just the right amount of spice or try the chicken stir fry on crispy noodles or the salt and pepper seafood or or or anything. You won't be disappointed

I had a mix up with a courier service and was delivered the completely wrong food, so I talked with the courier and he attempted to tell me that it was the restaurant that mixed it up, so I spoke with the restaurant and they still had my food waiting for me, so the courier was wrong and didn't want to own up to it, so I was reimbursed for the total amount. The restaurant then proceeded to tell me that if I ordered through them again, they would make me a fresh batch, and call the courier service to get a courier to deliver ASAP. The food arrived and it was absolutely delicious and exactly what I ordered. Would definitely order again. TLDR delicious food, best service.
J	Joey Kay on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Portion sizes of the meat were quite small for the price, and they were also not hot at all - I picked up my order myself and it wasn't hot from the get go, to the point where we ended up microwaving our meals out of fear of the temperature of the meat being too cold. Thin little slices totalling less than 1 small pork/beef chop, maybe 4 oz of meat - for $16?! Also, what Vietnamese restaurant doesn't provide hoisin sauce as complimentary... won't be back.
