Gold Leaf Botanicals

I've just ordered my second plant from Gold Leaf Botanicals and I can hardly wait to see my Turtle Vine . My first plant , the Watermelon Plant has been thriving for a year. I am so grateful for this shop !!

the shop is stacked floor to ceiling with plants. an amazing variety of common and rare houseplants as well. the owners are super friendly and open people, amazing to talk to, and are super duper helpful to aid you in finding what you need. some prices may seem a bit high compared to what you might find in your big box stores, but the plants here are genuinely under top tier care and you will not need to worry about pests, poor quality items, or misleading instructions when you shop here. overall, i would give 10/5 if possible. thank you guys for your help, i love my pink princess philodendron :)

Love this place! I found them through Instagram and their store is wonderful! They have so many amazing plants, all of which are beautiful and healthy. Bryan and Mike are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, I'm just starting out with house plants and they answered my many questions very patiently. I can definitely see myself being a regular here to buy plants for myself and as gifts for friends and family. I can't recommend Gold Leaf Botanicals highly enough, do support this lovely local business!

So I thought I had done this a while ago.. but THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!! I have never seen so many beautiful, full, happy plants in one place before. And interesting, unique pots! Just walking in the door is like stepping through the gates of heaven for any tropical plant lover. The shop is gorgeous and whimsical, Bryan and Mike are fantastic at what they do and operate will full transparency. When you buy a plant from Gold Leaf Botanicals, you know you are buying a well established, acclimated plant. They always have beneficial bugs spread throughout the store over all of the plants, so you don’t have to worry about brining home an infested plant and risking the health of your entire collection. If you’re like me and are still worried, they also sell the beneficial insects you need to wipe that pest anxiety away. Prices are always very reasonable given the quality, health and level of pest control for that plant. You might find a pot of the same size for $5 less elsewhere, but that plant will be half the size of the plant at Gold Leaf Botanicals, maybe over watered, maybe infested with pests… If you have questions about the health or the care of your plant, they have all of the information you could ever ask for. If you’re looking for a plant and don’t see it, ask! Chances are, it’s coming eventually - if it’s not already on its way. For people just getting started in the world of plants, Bryan even offers consults to help you outfit your house or business with beautiful, stylish plants that will thrive in your space. I truly can’t say enough good things about this place. I’ve never had a bad experience or purchased an unhappy plant. Hands down the best place to buy plants in the KW/Cambridge/Guelph area!

The visit here was an absolutely incredible experience. I learned so much through the information and education provided. The owners are wonderful and their passion for their plants and their business is second to none. I can't wait to return to get more plants and support the owners. It is worth the visit to see the assortment of plants and to interact with the owners and learn. I'd travel a long way to visit Gold Leaf and I highly recommend you visit them as well.

First time going to this store today. The people working there are extremely enjoyable to talk to and also very knowledgeable about plants! Has a wide variety of potted plants and very reasonably priced! They even told us how to take care of our plants, and took extra care in packaging them when we told them we were taking public transit. Bought the following succulents and the pots as well from them!

Come for the plants, stay for the education! This unique little gem of a plant shop is a must-visit for anyone who considers themselves a plant lover. These guys really know their stuff, and are gracious teachers who are clearly passionate about what they do. On this first visit I got a little monstera, and feel more than prepared to help it thrive after mostly having pothos and snake plants my whole life. I will 100% be back, and cannot wait to see how their business flourishes.
