β β β β β Best personal hot pot place in Vancouver. The thing that sets those place apart from the others is the freshness of the ingredients. The seafood hadn't been frozen.
The portions are also huge.

β β β β β Food was excellent. The selections were great. Portions were reasonable for the price. Service was excellent.
I went with a friend and I was not accommodated because my friend was running a bit late even though multiple spots were present. I had to wait outside in the cold which was not a fun experience. The environment was also very loud and not conducive for having conversations.
I definitely still recommend trying this place out - the criticism above are just a few things to keep in mind prior to visiting.

β β β β β The hot pot here is delicious and has so many great vegetarian options! There are some different soups to choose from; many of which are vegetarian. The combo is a must get! They make the platter vegetarian as well for those that want it. The milk tea is a must with the combo! Will be coming back again another time!

β β β β β It was my first time to dine here, and the staff is nice enough to explain how to order and the menu. Unfortunately the laksa i want to try was not available at that time, so i ordered Japanese sukiyaki base which i have no idea whats it like. To my surprise, it was delicious and i really liked it ! The combo price is a good deal, however with the meat that you have (4oz) + combo. You might not finish it all, unless you have a big appetite or so hungry. Once the soup got too salty, you can request for clear broth to adjust the saltiness. You can also take out the left overs if you want. Its a good hot pot restaurant, but i find it a bit pricey.

β β β β β Price has been increased more than 30%, it's getting real expensive. Food still taste good and services are great, just won't be coming as often now.
Edit: To add some examples to my review, I'm pretty sure most customers order combos. So a Rib eye 7oz combo that used to cost $15.95, is now $24. The Prime rib 7oz combo that used to cost $24.95, is now $33, not sure how that is 10 - 20% increase.

β β β β β The broth was so delicious and the ingredients are fresh. My partner got the original #1 base (good depth of flavour and spicy), and I got #4 collagen bone broth (really good flavour). Price is worth it for what you get. I just wish the sauces had covers or were in squeeze bottles or something. The brass bowls are pretty but feel a bit... Unsanitary. Staff were friendly and helpful, an overall great experience.

β β β β β Nice place for individual hotpot. The food here tastes great. I always order the combo, as it comes with the vegetables and drink. If you come during happy hour, you can get refills on your drink. Inside is nicely temperature regulated too, not steamy from all the pots going at once.

β β β β β Gokudo has to be one of my favourite hotpot restaurants. They have the freshest high quality ingredients ranging from beef, pork and seafood. They have combos thatβs very convenient. You will never leave this restaurant feeling hungry. The staff are very kind and courteous. Make sure to call ahead and ask about wait times as they can get very busy during peak hours.
