O	Olaf Oleson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Go To Radon Solutions did a great job mitigating my radon problem. Gary conducted a thorough on-site assessment and provided a detailed written quote. He was frank and up-front about issues that might be encountered once work started, which I appreciate because I hate surprises. In addition to the fan unit installation, the job required a large amount of sealing around the perimeter of the basement and in various cracks and rough-ins to maximize efficiency. Despite all this, the work was completed on schedule. The process was well run from beginning to end and my radon levels decreased dramatically within 24 hours of the fan unit being turned on. I was very satisfied with the results and would definitely recommend Go To Radon Solutions and Gary.

Gary did a fantastic job on the installation, very professional. He also explained step by step the process which was very reassuring. He reviewed existing rough-in pipes and checked the sealing in the framing, and indicated that his work included detailed analysis of pressure points throughout the basement floor. When he arrived to do the installation, he brought all his testing equipment and generously shared his knowledge, demonstrating how the pressure was changed based upon the expected unit. The end result was a mitigation solution that was sized well, creating the necessary pressure while minimizing the noise. Gary was enthusiastic, knowledgable, and installed a clean solution that met our needs. I would recommend Gary and hire him again.

He completed the work exactly on the schedule and for the quoted amount. He kept the work area very clean during and after the installation and answered my many questions. My pre-mitigation levels were above 300 becquerels per cubic metre. It is early days and we are not in the heating season when radon levels are usually higher, but my levels are now typically less than 30. Although I need to monitor over the long term, I am very satisfied with the work done and would not hesitate to recommend Go To Radon Solutions.

After all, how hard could it be for a licensed electrician since the early 1980's who spent the last 35+ years of his career as an engineering specialist on some of the largest energy projects on Earth? After doing my research it became abundantly clear that while I may had gained a basic understanding for my efforts, I still knew nothing about the finer points of radon system design, installation codes, equipment selection, system optimization, as well as testing of the completed project. Go To Radon Solutions checked all of those boxes and exceeded my highest expectations. During my working years I have come across professionals who are outstanding in their respective fields. In my opinion, Gary is one of those people. I strongly advise against the DIY approach and recommend consideration of that which Go To Radon Solutions has to offer.

He has all the latest and the greatest test equipment to analyze the radon levels. Yes, he does not blindly install the biggest and the loudest fan he can find. Instead, Gary meticulously measures, re-measures and charts his findings before he calculates the optimum solution. He is very friendly and encourages any questions throughout the whole process. Gary took the time to explain every single detail along the way. His workmanship is outstanding. All the plumbing and electrical work he did looks so clean and professional. My radon levels went from 183 Bq/m3 to 9 Bq/m3 and the fan he installed is barely audible! Once Gary finished the job, he took the time to vacuum any dust off the floor too! Simply put, if you are looking to do a radon mitigation, I don't know why you'd pick someone else!

His initial assessment was detailed and thorough. He brought along samples of his work and visuals that helped to explain how radon mitigations systems function and how they are installed. He also answered our many questions, both during the meeting, and by e-mail afterwards. Our install was a bit complicated because of the structure of our basement. Gary saw this as an interesting challenge and he dedicated a lot of time and thought to creating a solution for us. After the install, he returned to make some adjustments so that we could run our fan at a lower level and save energy. After Gary finished his work in our home, our radon levels went from the 300’s down to an average of about 12. We are very pleased with the results. Our radon level was above 220, not is around 15. Gary installed he equipment very quickly, cleaning after the installment and during, the whole process took 1 day. Gary was measuring the levels for a week before/after the installment with his professional device that gets recalibrate yearly and represented the data very clearly and quickly. Thank you! ?
