About Global Pot Fusion Cuisine
Global Pot Fusion Cuisine is a multi-ethnic cuisine, casual-dining, delivery/take-out restaurant, featuring favorite dishes and desserts from all over the world. Global Pot was established in Saskatoon in 2018 by Nse Umoh and Ope Okunola.
Ope is a trained caterer and expert in African and Afro-Caribbean cuisines and has worked in the food industry both in Nigeria and Canada for over 20 years. She owned Rehoboth Catering, a catering outfit that served a wide range of clientele across the Canadian Saskatchewan and Alberta provinces. Widely praised for the excellent quality and service of a wide array of African dishes, she has attained a special reputation for her outstanding intercontinental meals.
Nse is a trained confectioner with passion for cuisine of diverse cultures particularly, African, continental and French. Her culinary roots go back over 20 years with extensive experience and capacity in managing various hospitality projects. Nse is the owner and CEO of Fresh Spring Hotel and Towers, a hotel based in Uyo, Nigeria, where her culinary skills have been savored over the years. Also, as a director of Epi Events Ltd, Nse is in charge of catering services providing assorted cakes and desserts for various events across the western provinces of Canada.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good service. I had the jollof rice with beef stew, and fried plantains. Rice was fantantic, however the stew meat was tough and the portion was very small (maybe only 3 chunks). The plantains were the best that I've ever had, caramelized to perfection. I never knew that they could taste so sweet and full of flavour!

Food was delicious. We had the teriyaki chicken and the coconut fried rice with beef empanada. The coconut fried rice was very tasty and it had shrimp and green peas.
Next time we might try something different.
I highly recommend this place, so you can try different kind of food.
