β β β β β I called the Global Liquor, Temple location this morning to get a price on a specialty rum called "Bumbu Rum", the sales person on the phone said they don't provide prices over the phone. This was not a simple request of asking for the cost of a six pack of beer, this rum is expensive and I want to purchase it at the most competitive price possible.
As a result I called a numerous other liquor stores who carry this product and they were quite willing to provide me with pricing. The policy of not providing pricing does not speak well that this store is competitive, they left me with two options, find pricing and shop elsewhere or drive to the store to get a price. I of course, will shop with a competitor who provides pricing, which is a valued customer service. All other liquor stores I called provided pricing over the phone.

β β β β β I used to go here often because of their location and their decent prices. However the experience today in-store was terrible customer service. Anyone whoβs job it is to handle cash, should always pay close attention.
My total today, (which has not changed in some time), came to $16.49. I had paid cash, a $20, a $5 and 2 quarters. The woman at the counter then asked me for $1. I thought; Which makes sense, then it would be an even $10 back for change. I proceeded and gave the $1. She then closed the till and gave me my receipt without my change. When I questioned it she told me βyou gave the exact paymentβ.I then argued what I had given. She argued back. I stated, βmiss, I gave you a GREEN bill, a BLUE bill, 1 loonie and 2 quarters. You still owe me $10β. Almost immediately she called the boss over to review the cameras. After waiting for minutes for what was simply not my error whatsoever, I was getting upset and he in the end gave me my change.
This is very poor customer service. Whoever has a job where money is dealt with; they should ALWAYS be paying attention. Will not be returning here.

β β β β β Great place, small but if you work with the owners they will get anything you need, very accommodating and probably the best place to go to if you are planning an event as they will get you fixed right up with exactly what you need! They have a great selection and even have an incredible variety of beer including several hard to get Caribbean beers! This is always my first stop when I need anything!
