I have an Acrosonic spinet which was gifted to me many years ago. It had been painted by my mom, who did not know what she was doing. Chinook Piano's restoration guys were able to carefully remove all of this extra paint, as well as … More the original finish, and then re-stained and re-varnished it to look like new. Also rebuilt the action and so it plays like new. Looks so much better than the bland black you are stuck with for a new piano in this area.

The technician recommended a piano life saver system, which makes sure the humidity leve linside the case does not swing up and down through the seasons. It has been well worth the investment, and is easy to refill about once a week.
