Such a beautiful place to enjoy nature. A diversity of paths to choose from and all great to do. Wildlife to watch up close.

Awesome hiking experienced, crowded, there is a sandstone quarry that was used to rebuild Calgary downtown after 1886 fire ?. Very friendly staff at the information center. The bow river and Canadian Pacific railway line go through this land.

Great place for hiking, biking and running. Only downside is no signage if the pathways are closed because of cattle grazing. A heads up would be good.

This is a little unknown gem of a park located between Calgary and Cochrane. Access to it is quite easy and the road to it is solid. There are multiple parking lots at the park so it should be easy enough to find parking. There are male and female washrooms that are reasonably clean with a security camera just outside to ensure that everything is kosher. The main trail from there is the Tiger Lilly Loop. There is ample signage and garbage receptacles for both garbage and recycling at the beginning of the trail. PRO TIP- Near the bottom of the trail, there is a small pond. DO NOT GO IN! THERE ARE LEACHES IN THERE THAT WILL LATCH ONTO YOU! The paved pathway is easily navigatable for all ages. Bring your dog too as long as they are on a leash.

I wanted to walk, but my son wished to skateboard. So we found a solution and drove to Glenbow Ranch Provincial park. An amazing place for walking, biking, and even skateboarding! We saw cows, deers, groundhogs, and a train. The nature is really beautiful ? Next time we will definitely take some snacks as the park is huge, and it offers picnic tables.

We biked there from Calgary. Hoping to go back via the gravel road, but unfortunately there is a small obstacle, the road stops on a private land and can't get through. Hope the city resolves the issue so we can have a continuous loop between Calgary and Cochrane from a bike path/gravel road away from the cars. Other than that it is a very nice area with mountain views.

Such a beautiful place to visit with epic views of the Bow River and the mountains beyond, and it's only minutes from my house! I always see deer grazing and hawks gliding overhead. Time to hop on my bike and try the great paths. ?
