The hiking trail was amazing. I don't suggest taking side trails unless you are ready to go up steep hills, and walk through five feet tall grass. It was still fun on the side trails

Our experience here was "meh" at best. Bordering bad. No one came to quiet the pre-teen kid and parents screaming curses and insults at one another at midnight for a couple of hours at a time, usually loud enough to (I presume) be heard all the way through the highway. We knew the highway is basically next to the site, we can sleep through that. We can't sleep through a family basically begging to be expulsed right next to us. Moving on. The washrooms were not very clean (toilets were fine but walls were dirty & not apparently cleaned regularly). There isn't much else to comment on either. The "playground" is basically 2 swings and 2 baby swings - there aren't many campsites overall so it doesn't feel like a real issue. Though I've seen worst in other campgrounds, this is FAR from good.

Nice little section of the Rouge Urban National Park. Easy trail that takes you as far as the Twin Ryvers trail. Plenty of uphill walking so be prepared for that. As with pretty much EVERY other outdoor experience around the G.T.A... it needs more parking. Like A LOT more.

On the border of Toronto & Pickering. A fantastic place to get outdoors & hike. All the trails intertwine with one another. And your GPS on phone shows the trails so you can't get lost. Saw a mother deer ones. From the Rouge Valley entrance to Meadowvalve road is a 2 hr hike one way. Lots of paths to turn around if you want a short hike. Highly recommend. Much Love. Bless

Not bad for 'camping in the city'. Very gracious customer service at front desk, but not very personable park rangers. Rouge River has very easy hiking trails and the water is calm and not too deep. Community facilities are minimal, but includes firewood for sale, public washing sinks, playground, and showers.

What a nice small campground in the city. Glen Rouge is a national park which is under the care of the federal government. You will find Trailers, tents and camp cabins in the campground. There is one comfort station for the whole campground. It was decent place - clean and quiet.

Very beautiful fall colours in town. Gives a feel of somewhere quite far. The stairs at the trail at glen rouge campground are also very beautiful. Have been here both in summer and fall and this place never lets you down. Glen Rouge campground is closed for 2020 but the parking lot is open for the trail. Beautiful place in GTA for hike lovers!! Parking space can surely be increased as people had to wait for someone to leave to find a space. Since this place is so beautiful, additional parking would definitely be plus.
