Stayed At this campsite and had a terrible experience. Charged extra for dumping after we were told sewage came with the whole camping lot fee. The campsite had trash in it when we got there, as well as a pile of dog crap. and they gave us a smaller campsite than needed as its a 19 foot rv. (They asked how big of a unit we had when calling to book a spot) So it was very cramped. We complained about noise at 2am and nothing was done about it, Talked to a man outside, because the office doors were locked. (About sewage) Went back around and the lady there on her 4 wheeler, (not sure if it was the owner) was very, very rude. She said "I was in the office and you didn't talk to me" yet the office doors were locked? Stuck her nose up at us and asked about 2 more times if we went to the office. WHICH WE DID. So she lied right to our faces. Because the office was locked and no one to be seen except the gentleman outside. So she wasn't in the office when she said she was. She said the man outside didn't know what he was talking about. Customer service failed. Train your employees properly. Traveled from BC to Newbrunswick and back and this was the WORST campsite we stopped at. Camp somewhere else.

The campsite was closed for the winter...Sept 17. We pulled in about 5:30 after travelling all day. Next RV site was about 2 hours down the road. I was done driving for the day. They were kind enough to let us stay there for the night. Thanks again Creekside.

It was everything I needed, to have a fun, relaxing, stress free weekend away. Less than an hour from Winnipeg, straight out Portage Avenue, easy to find and get to!. We saw turtles, assorted frogs, geese, ducks, cute little Richardson Ground Squirrels, and a huge array of song birds. We even heard what sounded like coyotes late at night. The fire pits are well looked after and plenty of room to gather around. The store at the entrance offered books to borrow while you camp, or trade one of yours for theirs. On site owner and staff rock, and provided all the comforts and friendly, helpful service they could. The store Carrie's a perfect little selection of camping necessities, a long with treats, ice and icecream. It was peaceful and very family and pet friendly. This is not the place for people who want to be rowdy and drunk!! Very well maintained, clean, spacious, well cared for camping. Wondering easy to follow trails around the camp ground, to the ponds, and down to the river. The sites are easy to get around, with beautiful shade trees, and great group renting or any size trailer( pulled or driven). Their are so many places to stop, enjoy the beauty, fun little picture moments, and plenty of places for the light-hearted of you want to look for fairies and gnomes with your children! Absolutely the best place I have been in years.

Terrible campground. It’s dirty with dog droppings all over the place. The staff are rude and arrogant. There is a lot of noise from old smelly golf carts and atv’s running around the campground all day and evening. The dogs are barking 24/7. We stayed for a weekend and went without hydro for a whole day. It was 30 degrees and humid, without hydro we couldn’t cool off anywhere. They charged for full hookup for three nights when we only stayed two and one of those was without hydro. We couldn’t use the pool either. No effort was made to make any adjustment on the overpriced camping. If you are thinking of camping here, keep driving and find another campground.

We are off for our third visit in as many weeks. I would give five stars but I have no experience with RVing and nothing to compare too. Clean, quiet. I had one night with "rowdies" nearby and dealt with it myself, as I understand the owners are retired, and there is no need for me to wrangle them out of bed to fight my battles for me. And in any case, they weren't really that rowdy and very apologetic when I spoke to them. It's dead quiet by 11 pm. Diane is awesome and always sounds so pleased when we call to book. The regulars there are very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms are clean and as fresh as one could expect for a public space. Pool is nice and warm and clean. Bring nets for the kids! Lots of fun wildlife to explore. There is a cute little ice cream counter at the entrance, a "take one, leave one library." And I love how close it is to town (Portage la Prairie). Easy to zip in and grab anything you might have forgotten. We were not charged anything extra for dumping. It was a full, upfront package, paid at check in.

This was a nice stop. Peaceful and quiet. The sites look well maintained and we had so much room to set up our tents. We had to pay for the firewood but got a good amount of it. Staff and other campers were very friendly and our girls loved the heated pool and park. It's definitely a family friendly campground.

We have come here a number of times over the past 2 years. Enjoyed it so much, we have invited.... And camped side-by-side, with friends a few times. Always had a great experience. Cleanest, and best maintained outdoor pool I have ever experienced at a campground. Wood loads we have bought have always been large, dry and split..... Delivered to our site. Full hookup at a very reasonable cost. Large trees shade most sites. Our kids enjoy the ability to bike along the many roads around the campground. We look forward to every opportunity we have to go stay there.

Stayed here for one season but not very happy, Very quiet Park but the owners are rude and can be grumpy they are supposed to be pet friendly ,but if your dog barks a little bit the owners will scold you. They drive around constantly checking on you making me feel like you're in prison.
