V	Violetta Plotnikova on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dear Michelle, I regret you did not enjoy your stay at the cottage. I wish you had told us about the smell in the cottage and the uncomfortable mattress as both those issues were easily solved. We found the source of the smell, it was a dead mouse behind the stove. Dogs are actually allowed in the cottage, there is just an additional charge of $25 for cleaning. (I sent you a confirmation e-mail with this information). We still rent the paddleboat out upon request, we just changed the place where we keep it. We do have a quiet time from 11 pm until 7 am, but you can still enjoy a campfire during those hours (as most of our guests do). We just ask our guest to keep any noise to a minimum during the quiet time. Playing music outside is not allowed to make our place enjoyable for everyone. The raft was removed at the request of our insurance company.

Very clean and packed with everything you need (including cable). The owners were very accommodating and friendly, they offer outdoor toys for the kids and beach floaties. They also had a selection of board games and videos to borrow for free! We had a blast! Can't wait to go back next year :)

My wife and I came here for our anniversary, and were only suppose to stay for 2 days, bit loved it so much ended up staying for 3 days -went home grabbed the kids and brought them back with is to the cottage and ended up staying for 7 days total. This place is very kid friendly and lgbtq friendly. Great place for a fishing , the fish are everywhere. The water is clean and great for a kids to swim. I would definitely come back again and recommend it to everyone
A	Amy Isaac on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is perfect for families that are looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway. Not the place to go if you’re looking to party late at night. The owners were very nice and accommodating.The swim area is beautiful and clean! The water is pretty shallow for the first 20 feet which is great if you have little ones. There are little fish that swim around you, my kids and I spent hours snorkelling trying to touch them! We will definitely be back and totally recommend this place!

Advised the owners to make few fire pits.. A Good Bug and Mosquito repellent is MUST!...
T	Teresa Maki on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved this place. The seasonal campers are very friendly. It is a very lovely place to go. The cottages for rent have everything you would need. Don’t expect a luxurious cabin as it is dated. That would never deter us from going again. Very safe place. I was never worried about my girls (teen & preteen) and I was alone with them most of the time while my husband worked hours away. We stayed a month and would have extended that stay if it were not booked! The place is not crowded at all. The beach was nice and has gradual Sandy walk out. The water was always warm and we could stay in it for hours! I had rented the paddleboat for the month also snd the water is so calm that every morning I would go for an hour or so. Fishing is fantastic for small fish and to take children out. No joking, the fish were so plentiful! Nice quiet place day and night. If you’re into playing music outside and partying around a campfire, this is not the place for you. The town is very close for Icecream or shopping. The city isn’t too far away to go do laundry either. Great pizza place not too far. This place was heaven for us. We are truly hoping that we will be able to book a month in 2021 too unless COVID ruins that plan.

I was given a false email that came back unknown address. The cabin was extremely dirty and broken shards of glass all over the back door area! If I still had young children and if they had stepped on glass I would have sued! This place should be look on by health department! It is a expensive pig pen of ownship neglect. I don't live fare from this camp area but driving back would be a waste of time considering the owner is in Toronto. I guess a once very reputable camp area has fallen to the hands of a out of area/country slum owner. BEWEAR of what you rent online!!!
D	Daron Savaya on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We rented cottage number 10 off of Airbnb. Despite us running late to checkin, the management was very friendly and lenient. The cottages themselves are not of a 5 star caribbean resort, but they are liveable with basic cooking appliances, which bring back memories of scouts camp. The campground was clean and the water was beautiful, with available boat rentals (canoes, fishing boats, etc.). Recommend for the owner to bring in a few more canoes and kayaks for rental though!
