★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My favourite off- leash dog park in the SW! Lovely bowl like structure with gently sloping knolls and carefully mowed grass. Lovely bushes and large trees dotted throughout. Almost bucolic in its tranquility!
My only suggestion, and this would fit the description of a lot of dog parks in Calgary, is the missing 4th wall enclosure. This happens to be by an alley, which is occasionally used, and all that's there are some short posts and a top cable- no middle or bottom. Try as we may to train our dogs, often it is all for not If they see a rabbit, a bird, or a pile of food (/garbage ?). I've had a dog killed this way before, so I'd like to avoid the trauma again as well for anyone else that may have more curious/ skittish/ smell oriented pups!
City of Calgary Park & Rec: please put in the 4th fence (for this off- leash and others!) It is very much needed! Grazi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of my favorite off leash dog park in the whole Southwest area. I bring my golden retriever here as often as I could in the summer months. Great location with plenty of space for him to run around. Awesome park!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place for friendly dogs to run, chase a ball, frisbee etc. Trees throughout the park and shrubs along the borders. Fenced in on 3 sides including along 37st. (Busy road) but the alley has only post and wire fence. You need to wach your dog(s) do not stray into the alleyway on that side of the park. We walk our dogs there most days, year round, great exercise for them and us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean, safe, and friendly for bigs and smalls. Just keep an eye on your pooch at the top of the ridge where it backs onto an alley and is not fenced in.
