Beware. Gas gauges, on at least two of their rental boats, are stuck on FULL making it impossible to know how much gas you have when you are out on the water. One boat had a venting issue making top-up impossible - you have no idea how much gas is in the tank and this poses a significant danger when boating. Regardless of how friendly you are with the owner's dogs you are at serious risk of being bitten.

So happy we decided to dock our boat here! Lori and Todd are great people and gas dock guys are always fast and helpful!

Is it wrong for a customer to have inquiries about their service? To Laurie it is. My friend wanted to be clear on ensuring the safety of the boat while navigating the lakes. He said "I have another question." Laurie responds with: "On top of the 400 questions you already asked?" This is just one of such exchanges. I am very disappointed in their customer service to say the least. Most of her responses to any inquiries are condescending and not helpful in the least bit. You guys at Georgian Bay Marina must address this unprofessional attitude to Laurie so future customers will not have to tolerate this sort of behaviour. Thank you.

I reserved a 16' tinner for a few hours and was charged $282.50. I later had to cancel due to Doug Ford. I was not refunded the full amount because of a "preparation" charge of 25% At the time of booking I was not told this nor does it say on their website. The answer I got was: "Well someone else is responsible for our website". You are responsible for your website and its your responsibility to ensure that customers know exactly what they are being charged. No invoice was ever issued. Terrible business practice and awful communication.

Owner Laurie is generally nice, but beware. Some minor difficulties last year, but we went back this year. We should have learned. We paid in full for a 19' Larson boat for skiiing and tubing. Without telling us, they dropped off a very different, smaller, beat-up Cobia with only a 90hp motor that often stalled and was absolutely no good for skiing. Notably, it also had a missing ladder(!) needed to get back in the boat! For a ski/tubing boat!? Not to mention there was no paddle and the gas gauge would stick at full ... you have no idea how much gas is left in tank, very dangerous when out in the lake. These are basic safety items that should never be left unfixed on a boat. The missing ladder, to get back on the boat from the water, made it impossible for many of us to use for tubing out in the lake. Skiing was a no go in any case. We paid $1200 for a ski boat. Their response, after days of arguing and back and forth ... here's $200 you should have told us there were problems when we dropped it off, get lost. Wha? So it was our fault? We didn't know until after we used it ... BUT YOU KNEW before you ever delivered it! What is wrong with these people. Brutal. Never going back. Should have learned last year.

Went above and beyond to help my cousin get the parts he needed for his sled, to get back on the trails. Super nice folks!

I can't say enough about the service and care we received from Laurie, Todd, and Justin during our vacation on an island in Sans Souci. They were the kindest, and most down to earth professionals one could hope to work with and their help will never be forgotten. Above and beyond. If we are ever lucky enough to vacation in the area again it will provide us with great comfort and assurance if we can call upon these folks again for their service. 10/10 with heartfelt thanks to this local business who treated us so well.

A shout out for Laurie and Georgian Bat Marina. These folks put the pleasure in boating the Parry Sound area. GBM offers boat rental by the month, week, day, and 1/2 day. We did the 4 hour tour and no question it is the highlight of a fantastic summer weekend. The boat rental equipment is well lived in but is also very well maintained. Our 19 ft now rider with a 90 hp Suzuki ran 2,800 rpm for three non stop hours and sipped 32 Litres of fuel. Highly recommend these folks to anyone looking to add a little vroom to their Parry Sound experience.
