Georgian Bay Beach

As a Google Map Level 8 guide added a missing place on the Google Map. “登山中途营”（Halfway Log Dump）附近的乔治亚湖滨（Georgian Bay Beach），布鲁斯半岛国家公园主要景区之一，位于半岛东岸，滨临浩瀚的美丽的乔治亚湾。因古老的岩石断层，壮美的冰河地貌，水晶般清澈的湖水，葱茏茂密的原始森林，而在北美享有“最壮丽景观”（most spectacular scenery）之美誉。

I was shocked by my first Rock Beach when I arrived here after 8:00PM in a summer evening in 2015. Every stone is so clean, so as the water. I was very tired when I went home after midnight, but it was a great memory and I felt the trip worthed! I am going to check it again with my kids after 7 years.

This is like a mid way treat when you take the Bruce Trail at Tobermory. The route to get here is not easy and to make things worse, it was raining when I was here. Thankfully, we had our waterproof jackets and water repellent hiking pants. There is no straight, flat way to get here except to hike here which takes quite an effort. Make sure to pack some snacks and enough water as the hike inwards is pretty strenuous and hydration is extremely important. It is very important to check the weather condition so that you wear the appropriate hiking clothes. Hiking shoes are extremely important so wearing sneakers might be comfortable, but it may spoil easily or not have enough grip when you are going down the slopes. At least a windbreaker is crucial as it might be cold when the wind blows, I came here in fall so I wore a waterproof slightly insulated jacket which was very comfortable. I would also highly recommend that you do not carry a huge backpack as you might have difficulty climbing up and down the slopes unless you are a seasoned camper. All in all this is a great half way point to the other end, regardless of where you start. The water here is really clear and there are plenty of small stones or rocks for you to enjoy (If you know what I mean). The scenery is really pretty here and you can take lots of wonderful photos. The left side when facing the water has some huge rock formation and you can sit on them, climb on them or climb onto the top for nice photos. When you get here, do spend some time taking some really good photos near the water and walk each end of the beach like I did.
