Geneva Street Apartments - Skyline Living

building has cockroaches and is dirty. hallways and stairways are not cleaned and the water has been shut off twice in one month. the front driveway was going to be paved according to the manager however they did not fix the giant hole in the front driveway. I don't like it here :( 0 stars rating is what I give

Skyline doesn't give a $%#, In the short time I've lived in this dump we have gone through 4 managers. They all quit out of frustration! Nothing works from the "security locks" to the hot water. The only happy residents here are the cockroaches. This place feels abandoned.

I Asked before moving in about bugs, in which i was not informed about the condition of this building. Now that i have moved in, I am seeing cockroaches all over the walls, and all over the apartment. No wonder i was rushed when i was viewing the unit. Please PLEASE ALWAYS READ THE GOOGLE REVIEWS BEFORE CHECKING OUT A VIEWING. learn from my mistake.

They will sue you for previous tenants damages make sure your incoming inspecting is correct and take pictures. 75% of all landlord and tenat disputes are involving skyling living in this city. Companys motto is very simple ""buy everything, when tenants move out sue them and fix and facelift on their dollar, jack up rent" thats the company you dealing with in a nutshell. Fly by night will be bankrupt in 10 years . I signed a lease that said x for missing screen x for damage closet when I moved out they tried to sue me for more . The quote they got for the damages was from their own contracting compnay under another name that only works for skyline the quote they had included many things that did not need to be done and were more then just fixing what I damaged they were improving the overall look so they could charge more rent to the next person it didnt work this time for them. They tried to sue for 12k for a carpet and screen door. Overpriced rent for what it offers . Other buildings have pools this one doesn't. Huge potholes. Paid parking . I had to pay for same spot visitors get to park for free way in the back. Covered parking floods when it rains you must walk through a foot of water to get to your car. Building infested with bugs people always there spraying but because its against some religions to spray and kill bugs they cant get into those apartments and the problem never goes away. Appartment is small and so are the bedrooms. Wasnt a friendly building . No one holds doors or opens door for you in lobby even if they do see you everyday. Tenants complain about noise and having friends over. If your only looking for 4 concrete walls a roof and floor this is the place for you. They make you sign a year lease and no one stays past a year except people who still pay the old rent. If your not almost homeless rent elsewhere. Id say more but they will take me to court and sue me for that too ?

Terrible filthy and expensive. The building has cockroaches everywhere (apartments, public laundry, hallways) and skyline will not pay to have the building cleared. The building is in serious need of repair, the stair well is falling apart! Skyline is letting this place spiral out of control. I'm disgusted. I pay over $900 a month to live in a bug infested hell hole.

I live in this decrepit building and I've been trying to get out. Do NOT move here the place is INFESTED with cockroaches and even after multiple sprays from Orkin nothing has improved. Things have been neglected huge. The slumlords are a nightmare. Rent is too high for what people have to go through here with the bugs getting into your cooked food, or beverages. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

My elderly parents moved in there 5yrs.ago. It was a nice clean building. Roughly 3+ yes later the building was purchased by slumlords who raise the rent constantly and allowed "unclean" tenants to move in with their bedbugs & cockroaches and do cheap bandaid solutions. My guess is Skyline & Q residential are the same people/ SlumLords!!

Was good for the first 4 months but spiraled out of control after our landlord in 2016 left, water almost never works overpriced rent and payed parking spaces that anyone can park in. Cockroaches are a real problem and are disgusting. Overall an overpriced disgusting apartment that they really need to fix. Glad we are moving out. EDIT: Have since moved out, so hopefully they get better as the new landlords are wonderful and are really working at fixing the place up!
