No one really knows where to start when you’re going through a divorce. But, Gelman & Associates lawyer Irena Davis, is there for you at all steps of the process. My consultation was straight forward and she explained what I can expect, how much it would be, and what my options were.
Even though my situation was amicable she made me aware of all possible outcomes and what to do to make a potential contentious situation better. Irena’s law clerk Ferita, was also excellent and ensured I was up to date every step of the way with on going support. Luckily my ex and I were in a good spot to work through the details and didn't end up going into court.
I highly recommend this law firm for your family law issues. While I hope I never need their services again, I'm glad that I had such a good experience.
For anyone going through any type of family law issue(s) and are in search for an honest, well-rounded, quick and effective family lawyer, I would highly recommend Gelman & Associates – Mississauga Office - Irina Davis and her team!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ashley Geller will charge you $10,500 before you even get a hearing date.
She also over charges her rates which I discovered when I reviewed my bill from the trust and found that she had been charging for much longer phone calls which were actually a lot shorter in reality when I cross reference my call history and phone bill.

She explained the process to me diligently and went through the options I had for the divorce process. My separation was amicable but any hiccup that we went through with my ex, Annette was good at dealing with the lawyer on the other side.
Mary Doyle her assistant is absolutely fantastic and was on top of responding to and addressing any concerns I had. She was quick and easy to speak to and great at putting my mind at ease. I would definitely recommend hiring the duo!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been over 2 years. Case still active and heading to trial. Irina and Paul have been with me every step of the way(Ferita before Paul). To put it simply, Irina is an absolute genius and her intelligence is beyond anything I could imagine. I’ve had a ton of agents in my past but non of them compare to Irina. Paul is very calm, very organized and I couldn’t thank him more for answering the questions when I’ve been out of place due to the stress. I’m confident in them. This place is not for scum, it’s for honest people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Didn't even get to meet with a lawyer and I ended up withdrawing my application for free consult and for help from these people. Can't even get them to take an interest in my case or respond to my questions. Communications are difficult, ambiguous and you have to keep pressing them for a response. They don't even read the emails that you send and keep asking questions about information already sent. I really did have high hopes for them and I'm extremely disappointed to say the least as Lisa Gelman put out some top notch videos with information on the separation/divorce process and I thought her firm would be more professional and caring. Instead it was a lesson in frustration. Thank God I didn't hire them.
