I hired her for sponsorship and also an arc application. Her and her team were on top of everything, so organized, very responsive and flexible with appointments due to my work schedule. My husband is back in Canada with a new addition to the family. All thanks to Maria! I can’t thank her and her team enough. Thank you so much for everything you’ve done. My family is together again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Received service and lets say it was a waste of my money and time. Had to take local mps help to resolve the issue caused by the lawyer and direct them on next steps. Also, i had to keep chasing them for next steps and for updates. Took more than 4 years and result was nothing.

In the beginning, she seemed extremely confident, even laughing at how black and white the situation was.
She said that she would submit my file to immigration and send me confirmation.
I told her that I would also submit it to CBSA.
Not only did she not send it but she didn't even bother to tell me anything.
I figured out that you actually have to send it through CBSA's portal.
Then she also submitted it to CBSA's portal.
For someone that claims to have over 17 years of experience, you would think that they know where to send what by now.
I was the one that reached out to her every few months to check in and see there were any updates or other steps I should take. She never reached out to me.
She randomly went on vacation and just stopped responding period.
Dec.20 - I send an email asking a simple question
Her office was closing for the holidays which is understandable.
Jan.4th - Office opened back up
Over 30 days later, she never bothered to reply and just decided to ignore me.
Feb - I sent her an email stating that I no longer want her representing me and asked for at least a partial refund.
She refused and used religion as an excuse for not replying. There is no religion that I'm aware of that requires someone not to reply to an email for almost 2 Months.
COST - Highest end of the scale
CLIENT CARE - Lowest end
Even though you're paying her, she makes you feel like she's doing you a favour.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend Maria. There are other professionals that will actually do most of the work, followup, charge and treat your fairly.

Akash was very patient, calm and helpful. Was always willing to take the time it took to make sure we had everything we needed in order to process our application as stemless as possible. When we got closer to the end of the processing time and were requested more information, the office contacted Aakash by email, and although he was in India, yes INDIA ,he STILL took the time to help us provide the documents requested. Thank you so much Akash for being a wonderful immigration lawyer! We recommend him 100%!

After many consultations with other lawyers that left us feeling like a positive conclusion was up in the air, unlikely or random chance, we met Maria Elka Zagazeta Garcia.
She was clear and concise. She told us how things would go step by step and what to expect. She never promised more than she could deliver. She spoke to us kindly and respectfully. Although she was not in the same city as us, she told us how it would work. Yesterday our matter was concluded and we couldn't be happier. She responded quickly to all emails and truly fought for us. My parents have custody of their granddaughter whose parents are not equipped to take care of her for various reasons. We are truly thankful for her help and are glad we took our time to wait for the right lawyer. She changed the life of a little girl who now has a chance at a stable life. Highly recommended!!!!!
