D	Darcee Carnes on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gateway Pet Memorial has helped provide one of the most cathartic and healing experiences to grieve my beloved dog. I went with a private cremation and then purchased a photo frame urn with a lasting paws contour print (which actually has the textures of her feet) and I bought a memory bead (I am obsessed with it and get so many compliments). I ended up adding name engraving to one of the products and they were so lovely and did it while I waited. I got to play with their dogs and meet those who work there. It is clear they love pets and it put my heart at ease. Leaving Sammi at the vet the night I put her down I felt sick that they would lose her ashes, mistreat her body, or not get the right paw print (she had a deformed foot and I wanted that one as her paw print)... I was so stressed about it but after visiting today I know that everyone there loves their pets and knows what it is like to experience loss and I know that she was treated with dignity and respect. I cannot tell you how much of a relief it is having my girl home and I never realized how much this after death process would matter to me. 10 out of 10. I cannot thank them enough.

Specifically, I would like to thank Jane, who took the time to help my friend and show him the utmost respect and understanding. Your kindness did not go unnoticed, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I would highly recommend Gateway Pet Memorial.
M	Meghan Pierrette on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As much as I adore the paw print created for my bearded dragon and the customer service provided when looking for an update I believe there can be some room for improvement. I am privy to know that the cost of the glass paw prints where only $60 when the design was owned by Pets Above. To see that they have doubled ($120 now) in price in all their products is heartbreaking. I cannot believe that ink paw prints have gone from $15 to $40. Although I can appreciate the presentation because it now comes in a nicer pleather box with photo insert, it is not worth the new price tag. All I was wanting was the paw print so I could put it in a shadow box. This is how they came before when done by Pets Above. No where on the site does it ask for this box as an option or show that it's coming in this box. I'm presuming this is supplementing to the jump in price? I would sincerely suggest you make this box optional to help with cost. Also again as much as I adore it, the size of the paw print itself is far too large to the proportion of a small reptile's prints. I think you should strongly consider having them made smaller for such critters. This may also help lower cost as well.

They went above and beyond and were so accommodating each time I spoke with them, on the phone and in person when we picked up his ashes. We will never forget Beau, who greeted us with his owner and reminded us so much of Timbit. Thank you so much Gateway! We can't thank you enough!!
V	V on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We recently lost our sweet baby Lexie. She was 16yrs old and went peacefully at home. We are absolutely devastated. Gateway was so wonderful and empathetic towards the situation. I have cried for days. My husband and I had a visitation with Lexie yesterday before she was cremated. It was such a beautiful experience to see our sweet old girl one more time and give her love and kisses. The staff were unbelievably kind and so friendly. They were eager to meet us and happy to answer any questions we had. They made our visit so special and very personal for us. We were able to bring our other senior girl with us as well to say goodbye. What an amazing experience for the care of ourselves and Lexie.
N	Nikki Donkers on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I lost my fur baby (Beans) a bit more then a month ago and Gateway was able to take her the Monday and get her urn, paw print and necklace to me in I think less then a week. I was so happy they were so fast and she could be with me again. I love everything I got and they were really helpful and packaged it up beautifully. I have one complaint though, I bought a necklace so that she could be with me all the time and my hair is constantly being ripped out by the chain. The necklace is so pretty and special to me but it hurts to wear, which is really disappointing. Other then that I’m very happy with Gateways.
M	Michelle Dagenais on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sadly we lost our rottie Mocha at 11 months of age, from heart issues. Gateway did a BEAUTIFUL job of sending her back to us, you can tell they genuinely care. They send a grief pamphlet and a sorry for your loss, confirmation of cremation little card. Mocha was in a beautiful velour bag and inside that a soft blue bag and then a clear bag with a gold ribbon that tied the clear bag, i kept her in it inside her cremation box because it was too beautiful not to. Thank you so much Gateway for making an extremely difficult, heartwrenching time in our life a little more peaceful. We have three other dogs and will be using Gateway for all of them.
C	Carrie Thornton on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As an employee for Gateway Pet Memorial Services for the last two and half years I have always known that every pet that comes into our care is treated with the upmost dignity and respect they deserve. But up until Monday of this week I fortunately have never had to use the service personally. My sweet 13 year old dog, Coco was very sick and my family and I had to make the very difficult decision to euthanize. Our hearts are broken to lose this sweet sweet girl who meant so much to us. When I am speaking with the public and pet parents I always let them know that at Gateway we are all pet parents and that there truly is a lot of empathy to what we do each day. No truer words have been said, as I have received that for my girl. Gateway Guelph facility you will never know how much we appreciate the way you took such great care in laying our Coco to rest. Her urn is beautiful, her paw prints and ink prints are memorial pieces we will treasure forever. Thank you Guelph operations team and a very big thank to Jane for making sure that Coco and my wishes were all taken care of. I appreciate all of you so very much. Helping pet parents in their time of need is something that Gateway goes above in beyond in. I now not only know that as an employee but also as grieving pet parent myself.
