The girls answering the phones are so rude!!! I called to reschedule an appointment, was told they would call me back with a new date, but I would probably be waiting "forever". A few days later I received a message to call, being as I work 70 hours a week calling during their office hours is next to impossible since they never seem to be there... I was then told I had no appointment and missed blood work, "YOU HAVE TO GET IT DONE, ITS NOT A CHOICE". Yeah.. No point drawing blood before a canceled appointment. I asked her when my next appointment is "You don't have one....." in an annoyed tone... Then she quickly checked the schedule and... There it was... A spot three weeks after my canceled appointment. If answering a phone and booking appointments for people is such a chore maybe they should change jobs... Avoid this place, patients deserve better treatment.

Dr. Fluit was amazing. I am normally very anxious and nervous. The front desk was super nice and accommodating. Everything was comforting. I have a bit of a phobia. You wouldn't know it today.

I have always had a good experience with the doctors and most the staff here. They do have one girl up front who’s attitude can be less than pleasant sometimes but I haven’t really had an issue with her I would just say she should work on her people skills. Otherwise I’ve always found the office to the well run, I’ve never had a problem getting in when needed, I always find they take my concerns seriously and adddress them appropriately. We usually see Dr. Dhillon who is really great but have seen a few others last minute as well that I also liked. The doctors seem to really care and I never feel rushed or like I’m inconvenienceing them. I also found for the most part they run on time or fairly close, and get back to you as needed.

I just recently found out my family doctor will no longer be taking patients, and is retiring. I called and spoke to the woman at the switchboard: cold, unhelpful, and basically told me that the are not transferring their original clients to other doctors in the clinic, so now, after years and years of going to Gateway, I'm left with no family physician. She only gave textbook answers, gave no help, only stating that if they could fit me in, they would 'try' otherwise, I'm stuck going to a walk-in clinic. Considering the fact that they knew my doctor would be retiring, they did little to nothing to find a replacement beforehand. After being a client for so many years, I was given next to no real answers or help on the phone. I was stunned, I honestly thought better of the clinic as a whole, but I realize now, I was just lucky to have a good doctor. I would highly suggest, unless you have a reliable, young physician, find a different clinic to go to, especially if you have special needs, or need reliability in a family clinic.

Absolute joke of a clinic. Front end staff are rude, cold and frankly don't care about anybody. The doctors are there to pull you into for pointless appointments to renew a medication that I've taken for decades. My old Dr at gateway (before he had to retire due to his own medical issues) wouldn't waste the clinics time, his time, or mine, and would refill my BASIC meds when contacted by london drugs. Now: I'm forced to come in...and waste a space, one that someone could ACTUALLY use: just so my 'new' Dr there can make the cash on the less than 2 minute appointment. Icing on the cake: just had my appointment cancelled, 2 days before, after scheduling the day off work: because my Dr is going to a 'conference'.... one would think you would have enough head notice to make sure you deal with your patients first? Nope. Not a care in the world. If you have ANY OTHER OPTION: Stay FAR FAR away from this terrible office: your best interests are NOT being looked after here.

I had a phone appointment for 4 PM that did not happen until 5PM and I missed it as I had to go out at 4:30. I was leaving for vacation the next day and needed a supply of my Blood Pressure medication. I called and mentioned that I had missed the call and was told rather rudely that it can take up to an hour and I was called at about 5 pm. I made the mistake of mentioning that, that was an excessive amount of time to have to wait for an appointment. I was told that it is not unusual and then I made the fatal mistake of saying that " Perhaps I should find a new doctor when I return. The receptionist said that is fine you can call this place ( the name slips my memory). When I returned from vacation and called for an appointment to get my medication I was told that I would be recieving a letter and that I was no longer a patient at the clinic. What kind of a doctor is so thin skinned that the mere mention that you might look for another doctor would send her into a tizzy and cut a 64 year old man off of his Health care, So much for the oath and human compassion that they are supposed to be sworn to. But I guess in the end I will be better off finding health care at a more down to earth clinic. Worst is I had been a patient there prior to this doctors arrival and had never had any issue with my previous physician. He was fantastic. So if you decide to use this clinic be sure to never make any comment that might be considered negative in any way. But I would recommend thinking twice before going here.

I see multiple doctors at this facility, I have always been treated respectfully and felt my best interest was always put first. It's always very clean and orderly.

I have had very unpleasant experiences with one of the MOA at the office! I have always had pleasant experience with my family doctor and the rest of the team. This one particular MOA needs coaching, education on confidentiality, respect, customer service, to not be belligerent when communicating with clients. When speaking with clients in the office, this particular MOA need to be coached on being discreet and not to speak about patient’s medical information spoken out loud for other patients in the waiting room to here. I felt humiliated, embarrassed, disrespected and not treated with dignity. The manager needs to be involved with coaching staff on being respectful when communicating with patients and their families. I would often not complain and take my business elsewhere. In this situation, I actually really like my family doctor and feel stuck in this situation.
