Gateway Companion Animal Clinic

After having a very frustrating experience in Calgary with several vets I contacted Gateway who had looked after my pup while she was with the breeder and she agreed to see us. She was amazing, caring and supportive. We will drive the 2 hours to see her to know we are well cared for.

Gateway is an exceptional clinic with compassionate, competent care and an amazing team. They are professional, efficient and skilled. The facility is clean, modern and welcoming. I would recommend to any pet owner. Over the years they have become like family to us and our animals are always treated like the VIPs we cherish.

I can't say enough good things about this clinic and the folks who work there. I had recently brought in a very sick stray cat that I had managed to catch and they were so kind and compassionate about the whole situation. They even updated me on the cat's condition afterwards. Would always recommend entrusting your pets wellbeing with the staff here.

The staff are absolutely amazing!!!! They were so gentle and caring with my kitty...and with me as well. The weather was quite bad and the lovely girls called me as soon as possible so I did not have to drive in the dark. I would highly recommend this professional veterinary clinic. The spay went well and today (operation yesterday) my kitty is acting as if nothing happened...playing and being her old self!!!

Our pup was injured while we were hiking on the David Thompson Highway. I called the clinic to see if they could see her on an emergency basis, even though we are from out of town, they got us in the same day! Very helpful and professional staff, and they went above and beyond in customer service. I would highly recommend taking your pet here! Have been dealing with the awesome staff for 7ish years now. Always amazing ? recently our puppy chevy took a turn that was a very sad outcome. The staff made chevy as happy as she could and gave me as much time as needed. In this sad time there was this little rescue kitty up for adoption. Poor little guy had a rough start to life but thankfully he was at the right place. Two weeks has gone by and the family was so sad over our sudden loss of chevy and it was time to pick her and bring her home 1 last time. As I picked up chevy I noticed the kitty was still there. Well long story short I made the decision to show the family and now our family has a new kitty we named lucky. He is lucky he went to the right vet, lucky to be alive and we our lucky to have him. He is not a replacement for chevy as we couldn't replace her but he has helped us greave. I want to thank the staff threw all the process of both the tragic and happy situation! If I could give a 10 star ? rating I would!

Since 2017 I have had the privilege of working with Dr. Kristine and her crew at the Gateway Companion Animal Clinic. When it comes to selecting and working with a vet, I am very meticulous and selective. Not only do I want what’s best for my furry companions, but I also want to have a fun, strong and honest relationship with them. At the Gateway Companion Animal Clinic you get all this and more. Not only does the clinic have an outstanding academic ability and an extremely broad spectrum of experience, they also have a unparalleled ability to properly assess and diagnose any health issues or concerns, accurately and properly the first time. This transparently reflects the level of passion for all animals big and small that they have. They absolutely love what they do and I’ve seen their level of passion so much, it honestly makes me look forward to clinic visits every time I go. I practically want to book an appointment just to say hello sometimes! They also communicate clearly and take your academic ideas in to consideration as well, within reason of course. Saying that your pets health is number one priority, is an understatement. I have brought dozens of canines to this clinic and I have never been more impressed with the level of care. Additionally my pets even look forward to going here as well, and that says a lot. In the last 5 years I have boasted to my friends and family about the Gateway Companion Animal Clinic. I take my friends pets there all the time, and I brag about how good the Clinic is to all my family out east as well. I have referred many friends to the Gateway Companion Animal Clinic and will continue too as well. I always want the best academic loving care for every animal.
