★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great church, awesome sense of community and sound Biblical teaching. My wife and I moved to Victoria from Ontario and decided to check this place out. 5 months later we feel like we have been here for 10 years.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gateway Baptist Church is a very warm and welcoming church. There are 2 services, one at 9 a.m. and one at 11 a.m. both have Sunday School for children. The pastor is Aaron Dyck. He is very warm, friendly and caring and he is an amazing speaker! Please come and be fed spiritually!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gateway Baptist is an amazing church. The preaching is next level fantastic. In many churches I have been to it feels like the pastor preaches AT you, at Gateway it feels like a friend is sharing something God has shown them. The music is always great. The childrens program is wonderful, and the people are loving and caring. There is coffee and a snack after each service. It is a nice time to connect. Over all Gateway is a lovely church. I highly recommend coming.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an inspiring place! My family and I have been attending for 3+ years now. The preaching is amazing and impactful. Pastor Aaron is up there with the likes of Tim Keller for skill. The music is great and I even joined the boxing club on Monday nights - for your health and spiritual health!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ THE CHRISTMAS SPIRIT IS ALIVE AND VERY WELL HERE ABSOLUTELY JOYOUS, LIVE 6-7 PIECE BAND EVERY CAROL DONE WITH A SWING!!! PASTOR WES SHONE BRIGHTER THAN THE REAL CANDELS...YES YOU READ RIGHT...REAL CANDLES.I think we forget we're so used to the dollar shop fakery ones.Tastey Gingerbread People and Shortbread Cookies coupled with Hot Apple Cider,Coffee mmmmm!! All Done Under Covid Rules.Had to make a reservation for service and then they did it all again!!! **WHAT A MAGICAL SPIRITED UNFORGETABLE CHRISTMAS EVE

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have watched some online sermons, unfortunately I've been unable to go due to work but the woman in the office is so helpful, so friendly and just all around welcoming! The pastor is also exceptional and fully living the love of Christ, he's helped me out while I was in a tough place and I'm just thankful and feeling blessed by my interactions with both of them!! Thank you and keep up the work you're doing for your community.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pastor Aaron's preaching is like a river. You can choose to walk in it up to your ankles, your knees, your waist, or jump in over your head where there is nothing under your feet but the Word of God to hold you up. This is a great place for faith to begin, where it can grow, and where we can be moved to a deeper understanding of what it means to live as a real Christian in an unreal world. Wonderful worship too.

One of my favourite things is that I can follow up with the service online when I can't be in person! Thanks, Gateway for being there for us!
