At Gateway Autobody, you can feel proud that your vehicle will be repaired with Aquabase, a waterborne paint system that is fully compliant with the strictest legislative regulations. Simply put, solvent-based coatings use chemical compounds as the main solvent for thinning pigment solids. Although effective, this method releases Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) into the atmosphere. Waterborne coatings use water as the primary solvent which greatly reduces VOC emissions. Aquabase has proven to be the best waterborne paint system on the market, meeting the highest standards for car repair. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a NIGHTMARE. Stay away!!!! I got my car towed here for a claim. They told me the towing company lost the key. The towing company denied it from the start. So someone comes to program a new key, they tell the shop there is "electrical damage" that could be from before the vandalism claim. Meanwhile the shop actually stole my battery out of the car. So my car sat there for a few weeks because they lied about the key and they would NOT report the correct damage estimate to mpi. My claim was delayed due to the "electrical issues" which was actually because the shop stole my battery. They also stole my amplifier out of the trunk that didnt open after they remover the battery. The lady at the front desk claimed they didnt look in the car or go under the hood in the weeks it was sitting there. She told me the cameras are only motion activated. And guess what the biggest red flag was? They didnt even come to look at my car or ask me what exactly was missing. Someone ripped apart the backseat. So this place is great if you want stuff in your car to go missing and you want your claim delayed even longer because of the shop. My car shouldve been written off from the start, instead they pushed it back by not reporting the correct damage amount to the car and then stole my battery and amplifier out of the car. Good thing i took the subwoofer out. I really had to fight to get them to report the damage amount of over $12000 when mpis estimate was only $4500
