About Gardewine

Gardewine announces an increased emphasis on service to North and Northwest Ontario through Gardewine’s ten terminals and agencies in Atikokan, Dryden, Ear Falls, Fort Frances, Kenora, North Bay, Red Lake, Sudbury, Thunder Bay, and Toronto.  Winnipeg, Thunder Bay, and Toronto (Mississauga) Terminals are now main hub locations for Gardewine.

Nunavut territory becomes part of the expanding Gardewine service in the north when 133 piggyback trailers, four boxcars, and 30 auto carriers are loaded at Thompson, shipped by train to Churchill, and transferred to barges for the final leg to Nunavut points.

They shouldn’t phone and make a delivery time and then not show up. My time is valuable. Went to the shop on my day off and they don’t show up. Not acceptable. When my wife phoned the dispatcher he was less than helpful. Isn’t his job to know what’s on his dock? May he should look for a job he can handle! When I phoned, the other dispatcher told me it was on the dock and didn’t know why it wasn’t delivered and the dock foreman had already left for the day

terrible experience with this company! they lost my package (6ft long pkg) then tried to tell me it was delivered which is untrue as I work from home everyday AND have security cameras! No one ever contacted be back every time they said they would.The manager passed the responsibility onto another company. This is the worst experience and most unprofessional business I've ever dealt with. To this day they have never located my pkg and no one has claim responsibility.

Probably the most disorganized shipping company I have ever dealt with. The drivers themselves are usually friendly and are just trying to do their best. The management however is always grumpy and never responds to complaints, damaged freight or lost and late freight. It's pretty obvious that they do not care about their customers. If you can at all avoid using Gardwine please do.

Exausting dealing with these guys. Drivers are friendly but all management needs to be fired. Not sure they even realize they are in the business of getting freight to people ON TIME.

Absolutely terrible service. Made zero attempt to remedy the fact that they lost my order. "Andrew" the Manager hung up on me when I asked why he would be looking for my package in Thunder Bay when It was shipping to Heron Bay from Sudbury. little wonder the rest of their reviews are so terrible. I gave one star because there was nothing lower.
