Worst company EVER! They are more like criminals STAY AWAY

Very clean and quiet apartments. My manager, Paul, was always really helpful and always really pleasant. I highly recommend.

I was very happy with my apartment. Both the resident manager and the maintenance staff were extremely attentive and friendly. I was also pleased the buildings were quiet and non smoking. Best of all, it was pet friendly.

Well yesterday I was confronted by a man I did not know. He didn’t introduce himself and continued to bombard me with complaints and questions. All of which were addressed prior with my landlords at Briarwood. He was quite rude and used abusive tones towards me. It honestly made me feel unsafe. Last I checked, my landlords were Robert, then Gordon and now Pita (whom I haven’t met yet). Never met this Other man who claimed to be with beacon hill properties. If it wasn’t for this man, beacon hill would’ve got 5 stars.

We stayed almost 3 years in their properties: First in Briarwoods and then in Willow Glen. It was a good experience when we were there. A family-friendly, non-smoking, clean and quiet apartments. The staff are very accomodating, and any concerns in your suite were addressed in swift and professional manner. Kudos to Paul and his team. I will definitely recommend BeaconHill on your top list.

Not a very pleasent company to rent from - Riverbend Place, specifically. My fiance and I, as well as another couple in the LGBTQ community who lived in the same building, were evicted because of "our dogs." Landlord was very unprofessional and raised his voice towards us numerous times. We are happy to be out and in a more inclusive, supportive environment. Never again will I rent with this company. Building signage also says "newly renovated" but the suites were very old fashioned with outdated carpets and old appliances. Laundry was also RIDICULOUSLY priced. Landlord also questioned us about having two dogs after we had moved in. We stated that this was put on our application, to which he replied "I never read those.." Would not recommend.

0 stars out of 5- Best decision ive made was to leave this toxic home environment with a toxic and highly unprofessional property manager. Renters be warned about this place, as like other reviews posted, dont choose this place if you: 1. want to be treated like everyone else over the age of 30 with the same rights (especially if your are a female) 2. Have sleep issues for example hypersensitive to noise as this building does not have concrete floors just old wooden boards. I was personally woken up each hour of the night from 11 pm well into 6 am each day because of people above us stomping also wearing boots and moving furniture each night. When I asked the property manager to help with that he said thats normal apartment living. He said that those tenants work night shift so they can stomp around all they want, ontop of the stomping they would also drop heavy things frequently to. We got transferred from the 2nd floor to the top 3rd floor and only after waking up and walking around for the first time after moving, the neighbor aged over 60 below complained about us walking at 6 in the morning. The property manager Paul came over right away in minutes after this tenant complained, came into our suite and started lunging toward us pointing his finger and shouting at my girlfriend (but not me because hes just got a tendancy at shouting at women) because she was standing up for herself as she was just walking in the morning. (She is a personal trainer and he knew ahead of time that sometimes she would workout, as she was just walking and not working out or anything he told her she cannot do her job anymore in the suite.) After a few minutes of Paul attacking us in our own suite when he was losing the argument he shuffled his shoulders up to his ears, and stormed out stomping down the stairs acting like a child and slammed the door shut. Not only did he act unprofessional he also lied to his boss numerous times and didnt even tell her about this situation. When he told us that we cannot walk in our own suite at certain times of the day I compared him to my situation before where he let the neighbors above us get away with consistently waking me up from 11 pm to 6 am any day of the week, he responded "its unfare to compare situations" the only difference in situations is that 1. Paul knew the other tenants longer than us and obviously had biased relationships with them over us and 2 they were 5 to 40 years older than us. When I booked a confirmed final inspection with Paul, he cancelled the day of inspection at the time we were suppose to be meeting and lied to me claiming that I never made a date when my texts will say otherwise. After talking to his boss and exposing the liar he is she was confused and claimed that he wrote a text with her in the room at 11 am that day when they worked in person together and claimed he sent it but it was obviously just a draft that he would choose to not follow up with me in regards to the inspection because after our argument he could not put his personal feelings aside to act professional. Once I got his boss to make Paul do his job properly on a different day for inspection he showed up 20 minutes late again not indicating he was coming, and he went to a different suite to piss around instead of going to our suite for the inspection like he was suppose to. Do not fall for his sweet talk Mr nice guy act he is a phony biased sexist ageist lonely man from Scotland. Know your rights, and your gut feeling, do not rent with Beacon hills if Paul is the manager.
