★ ★ ★ ★ ★ J'y suis allée à l'invitation du directeur Marc Sauvé pour le vernissage du peintre Steve Young le dimanche 7 mai. Encore une fois j'ai été éblouie par le traitement des portraits de femme de cet artiste. Ses ouvrages (procédé de haut contraste) savent en capter la force, la beauté, l'intensité l'âme même. Une vision de la femme non pas idéalisée mais incarnée dans chacune leur réalité propre, si je puis dire. L'ESPACE33, une galerie, de quartier de surcroît, un lieu à découvrir, à fréquenter pour l'accueil chaleureux, et surtout pour le culte de la beauté sous toutes ses formes! Bravo Marc et Steve pour le travail colossal, dans l'ombre et pour être si inspirés et inspirants! ?????
I went there at the invitation of director Marc Sauvé for the opening of painter Steve Young on Sunday, May 7. Once again I was dazzled by the treatment of the portraits of woman of this artist. His works (high contrast process) know how to capture strength, beauty, intensity even the soul. A vision of women not idealized but embodied in each their own reality, if I may say so. ESPACE33, a gallery, a neighborhood in addition, a place to discover, to frequent for the warm welcome, and especially for the cult of beauty in all its forms! Bravo Marc and Steve for the colossal work, in the shadows and for being so inspired and inspiring! ?????
