Nice walk through the forest down to the water. You can see barn owls if you look closely. Follow their hooting!

Quiet park on the shore of Kempenfelt Bay, great view of downtown Barrie

Nice place to go for a walk. The walk was a little slippery due to slush and ice still being present. Trails were wide enough to allow people to pass eachother (if needed). Also some muddy sections due to spring thaw. Will go back for another hike

Visited Barrie so many times but just found the Gables yesterday! Beautiful Trilliums blooming this time of the year. Loved the trail leading to the lake

Nice place to walk your dog. Lots of bird and wildlife - I have seen numerous pileated woodpeckers, red bellied woodpecker, swans, numerous waterfowl species, and even a bald eagle a couple of weeks ago. Just be careful - some people’s dogs off leash are not friendly.
