Instead, we are asked if one person can pay the bill or if we can pay for individual items.. We frequently come here, we would expect the server to be more accommodating to customers.

L	Lisa Bulet on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The last time I got takeout sept 21st at 230pm, in both containers, the chicken leg on top the rice was over cooked and my coworkers and I could not eat it. I spoke to the owner a little after 3pm who profusely apologized and said the cook was alone that day and must have left the chicken in too long. He told me I would have a credit the next time I was in. I also told him as a business owner I would want to know about such complaints as it could affect other customers as well. I just ordered today again for takeout and they do not have any credit on my file. Prices have also gone up but when I asked for a menu, they said they don’t have any for takeout….I paid 11$ for the special chicken fried rice even though it is listed as 9.50$ on their website. Very disappointing experience on the whole.

The location is fairly convenient, just off Steeles when traveling East of 410. Inside is a casual bar atmosphere: pool tables, bar counter, TV, along with dining tables. Due to the pandemic I usually order pickup. Their website has a full menu, so after I reviewed their specials I called to place the order. The lady on the phone was helpful and answered my questions patiently. After ordering the food was ready in about 10-15 mins. It wasn't very busy at the time so I was in and out with my food. I ordered the Special Lamb Fried Rice. The lamb sits atop the fried rice, it's sliced and comes with sauce and garnishes, which has a nice spicy kick to it. A fried/ roasted chicken leg is placed next to the lamb. What stood out the most for me was the portions. I was pleasantly surprised at how much meat they gave. For the price I paid I was not expecting so much chicken and lamb. I enjoyed the taste of the chicken, lamb, and fried rice. All very flavorful and fresh. I wouldn't say it's the best I've had, but I was quite satisfied. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. I'd definitely go again, perhaps try another item on their menu.
