I can't say enough good things about Dr. Seitz. I was so impressed with his pleasant demeanour, enthusiasm, attention to detail, and willingness to spend a lot of extra time with me. He found my issue and looked at it from every angle, explaining what he was doing every step of the way. He is THOROUGH!! He even walked me to the reception desk and shook my hand to say goodbye. His customer service is second-to-none! :-)

Great eye care specialists. Love the frames and lenses I got. I'm only giving four stars because last time I was in, I waited 20 minutes for a frames specialist no one came. I had my son so I left.

I used to be a client of FYi foctors, in the past...in Nanaimo....and I will give 1 star, for the great service...I had received many years back; (2008-2011) Lately since going there, in the past recent years; I found that...."body language" speaks volumes, and that i was NOT treated, as though...i was a "VALUED CUSTOMER", like other clients...who went there, and yet those customers were treated more better! I felt that my feelings DIDN'T matter, and that my business....WASN'T appreciated, so therefore with that said.....I highly don't recommend other customers, to have their business...done here!!! I am currently searching elsewhere, and sincerely hope....that I never experience this type of neglected service again. Hopefully I'm not the only one....that feels this way, and that actions do speak louder, than words! Would love to find and deal with, a much more suitable, yet "CARING" optometrists staff, who truly values the meaning of "excellent and exceptional" customer service, in the human care industry!

When it was Coastal Eyecare the service was great, but when it changed to FYidoctors it went down hill. There is a major lack of communication between the doctors, technicians and reception. We went in for a test and new glasses. Their website quoted one price for the frames and they tried to charge us more than double at the counter. They told us the glasses AND lenses would be arriving at the same time. We called and were told the glasses were ready for pick up. They weren't and we had to wait another 2+ weeks for the lenses to be ordered and arrive. Had to go back for free lens upgrade. Originally we were told they could just order the lens and all we had to do was stop by and have them put in. But no we had to go for ANOTHER appointment now we have to wait another 2 weeks for the lenses to arrive. Thoroughly fed up with them, and when we call no one knows what the other person is talking about. Prices are high and customer service sucks.

While doing yard work I felt debris go into my eye. I contacted FYI Doctors-Courtney to see what I should do. They set up an appointment first thing the next morning with my optometrist. The treatment that I received from Dr Saccucci was excellent and her attitude demonstrated sincere interest for my welfare. The office staff were also well prepared with a professional COVID-19 prevention plan. I felt very safe and I received outstanding customer service. It confirmed that I had made the right decision to be come a client at FYI Doctors - Courtenay.

I am leaving three stars because for both of my exam appointments I had to wait for over an hour even though I was 10 minutes early for both which was super inconvenient. I also had issues with my prescription and had to come back three times, and my glasses are still not perfect....and they should be for over $500 and I provided my own frames. I would like to say though that the staff member Amara was wonderful to deal with each time I was there and if I could give her five stars I would for sure! During one of my visits I witnessed a staff member speaking to her very condescendingly and in a patronizing way which was a shame because Amara is clearly very skilled and has excellent customer service.

Very poor customer service. They refused service to a 4 year old with a medical mask exemption. We explained over the phone and confirmed twice that it was no problem. When we arrived for the appointment, we were sent away. It was an awful experience for our child's first eye exam. If they just told us they couldn't see her over the phone in the first place, we would have found somewhere else and it wouldn't have been so upsetting and disappointing.

I have had the recent pleasure of seeing Dr Adam Myrfield at FYI! He was knowledgeable and heard all my concerns!Tiffany was amazing helped me pick out the perfect set of glasses ?She was knowledgeable about my insurance and billing! I seen Hailey when I picked up my glasses she was very nice Pumped me up for my new glasses! Thanks Team FYI!
