★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great first visit to the location. Was the only one in the place, so I grabbed the window seat. Mentioned it was my first time so he gave me the house special penne dish which tasted so nostalgic. Reminded me of eating at my nonnas house as a kid.
He also surprised me with a complimentary cappuccino! Whataguy

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ UNREAL food. My friends and I were in Toronto just for the day and found this place on a whim, and we're all looking forward to our return trip. We all greatly enjoyed our entrees, the bruschetta brought out as an appetizer was so fresh, and dessert couldn't be beat. One of my friends even ordered another meal to go since he liked it so much - and finished it before we were off the highway on our way home. Staff was very attentive. One of the highlights of our trip!

Giuseppe, chef-owner, is a very warm, funny, and friendly gentleman who genuinely enjoys serving his foods and restaurant with anyone. Support local business. Give it a try. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A part of me wants to gate-keep this hidden gem, but it's also deserving of a review as it's fantastic and our go-to spot for a great night out.
On top of the food and wine being consistently excellent, Giuseppe the owner is one of the main reasons I love coming here. He's the best host and has a relaxed demeanor that is very welcoming; we love chatting with him.
The vibe is very unpretentious and authentic; make sure to pay a visit in the spring/summer when the patio is open.
Thank you Giuseppe + all the staff for giving the Corktown neighbourhood good vibes and awesome food!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow. What a perfect little gem hidden in an unexpected spot. A group of us were looking for something close that served pasta and this came up on Google as fitting the bill of being VERY close to us. So, with little expectation, off we went. Wow, am I glad that we did! The atmosphere is intimate and perfectly lit. Wonderful music plays. The chef and owner, Giuseppe, works with one other staff, but also serves and entertains. It's the perfect Italian restaurant. Our food was all truly wonderful and the prices are very reasonable for the overall experience. The service was the best I've had in Toronto. Giuseppe was so attentive, kind, and enjoyable. I went back the next week and plan on going many more times. This is truly a gem.
