One stop for cheese, cold meats and finished groceries, I like that. An address to remember. The 4 stars instead of 5, just that the wait at the checkout was a little long.

RACIST STAFF: I am not white-looking and they never took their eyes off me. The girl at the cheese stand just kept following me as I was looking at prices and stuff. The older woman in cold cuts also, rather discreetly, kept looking at what I was looking at and picking up. I really felt observed and uncomfortable, though I did but something in the end, not wanting to confirm their suspicions that people who look like me are there to steal. Not likely to buy here again.
EXPENSIVE: Their prices are $2-5 dollars higher than elsewhere for similar products (cheeses for instance).
SERVICE: I asked about one cheese and the attendant directed me to the prepackaged product. When I said I didn’t like those, she didn’t offer to cut a piece for me. Yet later I saw her doing this for two white customers.
OVERALL : Not likely to come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I need to describe this place in one word - it would be just WOW! There is something unique about the atmosphere, the vibe and the cleanliness. Such an extensive display of products which are beautifully and attractively well organized. So much to choose from ... Truly amazing.
The perfect place to get all your cheese, deli, meat pies, paté, spices, tea, exotic chocolates, and the list just goes on and on.
What also strikes me is the staff knowledge of the products. I had not too long ago, organized a birthday brunch and wanted to have cheese as the main theme of my menu. So, here I was with my order of having about 5 or 6 slices of about 15 different locally made cheese, and expecting to get refusal or at the very least some resistance to take my order. Lo and behold, the staff graciously helped me pick the best ones, all from local Quebec farms and she had them individually cling-filmed wrapped with the proper name of the cheese. This deserves a 6 star for customer service, and product knowledge.
