About Friends Of Fish Creek Provincial Park Society
Kumiko completed her Masters of Forest Ecology in Shimane, Japan in 2003. After graduation, she led tours as a Field Interpreter and worked in the area of Wild Bear Management in Japan. Throughout her career, she has come to believe that accurate knowledge and good experiences are the keys to conserving nature. In recent years Kumiko volunteered with the Friends of Fish Creek and worked as a Program Assistant. She is keen to connect people to nature, and is very pleased and excited to once again be part of this team.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love going there to help them do restoration work, helps them out well and keeps the park looking good, I also just live nearby and that makes it a whole lot better too which means is that I only have to walk to work every day, not much people get this luxury out there, but it's a great one if are right next to it, anyways this place is great!
