Fred Samorodin, Registered Physiotherapist--Integrated Craniosacral and Jaw Physiotherapy

I want to thank Dr. Samorodin for helping me to return to my daily routine. I couldn't work, eat and sleep. My shoulder was dislocated and Fred fixed my bones and showed me exercises I should do. And no less important the flexible prices. I recommend everyone to visit him.

I went to Fred for some years He's wonderful! Seeing him 2 to 4 times a year keeps my imbalances at bay! I dont know anyone else with so many effective, subtle techniques in his hands & head. He's the best! I've been away ~ is he still in practice? Sherilyn, RMT.

Fred is not afraid to tackle any issue and uses his vast experience with various modalities and his ability to connect with what is going on to problem solve effectively and provide useful recommendations. For myself, I came in with an incessant eye/face twitch that lasted for years and over a few sessions it is barely noticeable. I’m very grateful!! Thank you!

I saw Fred for some recurring headaches that I was not able to get rid of. Not only did he eliminate those from my day to day but he was able to adjust an upper thoracic vertebrae that has been tight for years. Fred Samorodin has a special gift for healing. Any structural issue is square in his wheelhouse. He has helped me immensely with back and alignment issues over several decades. And you'll be amazed at his quizzical look when you ask after the first treatment "When shall I come back?" He'll likely say "Well, if you need to, give me a call." But he doesn't expect you will. That's how good he is.

I would highly recommend Fred. His knowledge and experience have helped me to be not only pain free but also gave more energy for day to day tasks. Ive seen alot of massage, chiro and physio therapists. He is the best. You are in good hands! ps. visit him at least 2 times, before you deside if he is good or not.

I have been seeing Fred off and on for close to 8 years now. Before I met Fred I saw a chiropractor twice a week for 2 years with no real improvement. After 5 visits Fred was able to resolve the problem. Since then I see him for "maintenance". Fred is not only a gifted and very intuitive practitioner, he is disposes over a large knowledge base ranging from osteopathy to cranial sacral work and now acupuncture. Fred is clearly passionate about what he does because he is always updating his knowledge base. I have happily recommended him to clients and friend and am very grateful to have him on my "health and wellness team."

To see Fred is to accept a certain level of chaos, both in his physical environment, and also in the service you receive. I saw Fred regularly many years ago and recently returned for my last 2 visits. In our email exchange he referred to me as Pier Ann, even though I consistently used my actual name in each email. PIER ANN. Have you ever heard of someone called Pier Ann??? Because of this, when I arrived he insisted that it wasn't time for my appointment, it was Pier Ann's time. I found it funny until I realised he was serious and this was his chaos wasting time. He spent the first 10 minutes searching for my intake form that I had emailed as requested. He couldn't find it so I ended up emailing it again. First visit was $150 for 60 mins. The session did not last 60 minutes. My second appointment, I sat outside his office on the couch until 5 minutes after my appointment time. He was sitting in his office, door open, on his phone. After 5 minutes I realised he wasn't going to make any effort to start on time and I approached the door. Instead of apologising for being late, irritated, he asked me how I got in the building. I replied that I walked in the front door. He was clearly irritated; another great way to start. How else was I supposed to come to my appointment? No other instructions were given. My visit lasted half an hour (5 minutes waiting outside included) and I was charged for a 65 minute session. His website states follow up appointments are $140 for 60 mins. When I questioned him why I was being charged the full amount, he said, "Well, I've got to clean up.' Wow! Just wow. As he was doing his final assessment I was facing the wall and noticed he had an add up for products he was selling. I asked how much they were and he quoted me the price plus shipping. I asked how long shipping would take and he said there would be no time as he had them there in the cupboard. He handed me the product and charged me shipping. To be clear, he charged me shipping on a product he handed to me across the room. He said he would send me a PDF of the exercises he was suggesting. He didn't. I followed up via email to ask for them. Still nothing. That was 6 months ago now. I thought about not writing this review, but nothing I say here is untrue, and I really wish someone had written this so I was prepared, or Fred lifted his game. While I'd love to give him a glowing review because he is qualified and good at what he does, there's too many questionable business practices and chaos around that to be able to give any more stars. My review is not great, it is honest.
