Fun quick ride on the motorbike from Saskatoon on the grid roads. People with canoes and kayaks seemed to be having a great time.

Best canoe launch/beach around the city. Perfect 1 day paddle distance to the city and a beautiful place to spend an afternoon!

Generally good place to hang out or launch a canoe. The shoreline is very unpredictable though as it changes rapidly due to the Saskatchewan. Nothing you can't manage, always a little suprise or adventure.

Great place to launch your canoe or kayak. You can hang out for the day on the sandy beach when the river is low. Down side is people park dumb sometimes.

The beach is very small this year, but it’s a nice little place; far enough from the city to be able to see the stars but not so far that it’s not worth the drive.

The huge beach of super fine sand changes its location every year, but it's always a great spot for a picnic, to launch your canoe for a float into Saskatoon (3.5-4.5 hours) or to watch the Sandhill Cranes arrive at sunset in September.

Great area for launching your PWC or flavoring devices. The parking area is limited, so if you see a string of cars on either side of the road in, stop, and park where you can. If you don't and continue driving in and another car is on its way out, you've created a massive bottle neck. So lesson here, park at the first chance you have as opposed to creating chaos for everyone else. This place is great for people of all ages, although this year the water is very high and to the south once you've walked down the path to the river, is all washed away!

There is easy vehicle access and limited parking. It is a short walk from your car/ trailer to the water. This is a nice distance to put your canoe in and paddle in to town for a little day trip (a 20km paddle). It's also a nice beach to play at when the water isn't very high (usually a little later in the season, when water is high, beach sort of disappears).
