Still quite a bit of snow. But a great first hike for the year

Steep incline to get your heart going. Trail runners or hikers recommended footing is precarious in sections due to foliage and grade. Trail is well marked. Parking is right off the highway, no 4x4 needed. View is excellent.

Steep incline in places and a bit slippery due to fallen pine needles. View is amazing at the top, but bring good shoes and don't go up on a windy day. Some parts of the trail are very narrow and some blockage from fallen trees/branches that you have to climb over or crawl under.

Great hike to the top of Fraser Mountain. 15 km return, 700 m elevation gain. It takes 1 hour extra to take the side train to overlook the cliffs.

Moderate hike with about 400m elevation gain in the first 4km. Narrow trail, 1-2 ppl wide. Spring water in first km. Cool crevices on the top, maybe good for some cave exploration if you had ropes. Great views of Fraser lake. No toilets at trailhead or on trail.
