Fountain Tire

We had a very good experience when dealing with fountain tire there customer service was very good.They fit us in right away and the job was done well I would highly recommend them for all your tire needs.

Awesome group, I had a tire shop tell me my breaks & alignment were good. Almost died on the way up to Terrace then these guys fixed me up & didn't charge me a thing

What a great group of people! Their communication was bang on. I had a gooseneck hitch installed in my new truck in a timely matter! Also, had a flat on my trailer fixed within minutes! Service was great. Would definitely recommend them to anyone! Jaecon went beyond for customer service - thanks again! I’ll be back!

I've had two negative experiences at this shop now. First time, ordered tires for my pickup, was advised they'd arrive in a week or two, never heard back after two weeks so I called the shop, tires hadn't arrived yet said for sure tomorrow. Two more weeks go by and I call again, staff tells me they still are in transit, I call the following week and I'm then told they sold them by mistake to another customer 3 weeks prior and all stock of that tire/size is on back ordered. Don't offer me a discount on another brand/model of tire when I asked or anything. Guy on the phone tells me "yea that's just the way she goes sometimes" Second experience - was not planning to purchase from them again, and in hind sight I shouldn't of, I just have always been happy with the goodyear brand. Almost identical incident to the first time, ordered some winter tires in mid-Sept figuring I'd beat the winter tire rush, guy who takes the order says no problem they'll be here by the end of the week if not early next week. Call back the following week, advised they're in transit. Call every week from Sept 30th into Nov and each time I'm told the tires are in transit and to call back the following week. Call them again early Nov, and I'm told the tires were taken off the truck and sold already about 4 weeks prior and now they are on a backorder and can't get that tire anymore. Again, when asked if they have other options for tires or can help me out with pricing, I'm told no and the other option was some knock off brand I wasn't wanting to go with. Of course it's now Nov and all tire shops are low or out of winter tire stock. Last time I go to Fountain Tire Terrace. Luckily the guys at Kaltire lucked out and had a set of hakkas for me, more money then I wanted to spend but a better winter tire, and the service was outstanding. Tires were here in less then 2 days and they squeezed me in to get them installed no questions asked.

The staff at this location are exceptional! They go above and beyond to take care of their customers. I willingly travel 1.5hrs each way to have these gentlemen look after all of my mechanical needs!!! Not only do they have quick, professional, courteous service but they walk me through every problem when I don't quite understand. The one time they went over their original time frame, they did their best to accommodate me and still honored their quote!!!! These guys despite often delivering painful news about my vehicle, are great in their delivery of the problem, prompt solution, and always help me figure out the most cost effective, yet practical solutions. Best experience I have ever had when dealing with a shop. Hands down recommend these folks!!!

I would avoid!! Bought new winter tires and had them installed, drove from terrace back to Kitimat and then looked at the tire pressure gauge on the dash and realized that they inflated one of the tires to 80 psi (double the recommended inflation for my truck) and the rest of tires were at 40 psi. Thought maybe the sensor was off but checked with a manual gauge. Could have created a dangerous situation driving through winter conditions and been a lot worse. You’d think a tire shop would be able to install and inflate tires properly. Such incompetence at the easiest of jobs. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else. Not impressed. Tried to call them back and they had closed early for a christmas party, very unprofessional

They all worked so fast on my car when my car needed to be fixed, thank you to all the workers there! You guys are amazing

After waiting a month for my re-booked appointment they didn’t even fix my car and called me instead of the customer who’s car they actually fixed. They also charged me $140 for windshield wipers without even calling to ask if I wanted them replaced. Overall it was time consuming and a headache, 0/10 would not recommend
