★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been in nursing for 25 years and this is hands down the best course I've ever taken to refresh my first aid and cpr certification. Kim was hilarious- the class felt fresh, fun, and best of all, pertinent. As a paramedic and nurse herself, Kim knows where to add emphasis, real life tips and tricks, and has years of experience and street-cred to back it up. Well done.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was totally blown away by how AWESOME this first aid training was. I have taken first aid 5 or 6 times and this is the only times I walked away even wanting to leave a review. First and foremost, Kim was absolutely hilarious, which made the day quite enjoyable. She presented the information in a way that was relevant, understandable and approachable. She easily translated the rigid textbook recommendations into real-world situations. There seemed to be less of an emphasis on memorizing specific situational responses, and more of an emphasis on teaching us processes to follow in deciding what to do so we can make the best decisions regardless of what the exact scenario is. Also, Kim's training is gender-neutral and the language she uses is extremely inclusive. I felt SO glad that I spent my money on first aid training at Foundations and have already recommended them to friends and family. What a great company.
