★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The school has been recognized for having one of the most outstanding school principals in Canada. Kent Brewer and the staff have done a fantastic job of teaching young people with difficult challenges. An example for other school boards to follow.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Many people consider this school a place for misfits and miscreants. That's not accurate or fair. This center is a fantastic alternative to standard classroom settings for students with any variety of reasons why they cannot or won't function well elsewhere.
The teaching staff work with the students, encourage them and assist where needed and let the students work at their own pace to complete the subject.
Much respect and appreciation for TREC and its staff!
