★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We would not recommend bringing small dogs to fortune farms. Our on-leash dog was attacked on the trail by the owner’s off leash dog. What should have been a lovely day ended in a vet visit. Our dog had bruising, limping and needed pain meds, we are thankful she was not more seriously injured as she was bitten and aggressively pounced on. The owner was very kind and apologetic but I wouldn’t want any dog owner to go through how scary it was to see their dog attacked and in pain. The grounds and maple syrup were great, but our visit was unfortunately dampened by this distressing incident.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time visiting, definitely won’t be my last. This season many sugar bushes are charging absurd entry fees that get you nothing. Found this gem because they were free to visit. I’d rather spend my money on maple goodness. Prices were fair and selection was great.
It’s family run and it shows. They clearly love what they do.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful place to visit. Everyone is incredibly knowledgeable about the making of maple syrup, and they enjoy answering LOTS of questions. The Kettle boys are lovely and hilarious; making syrup the old fashion way. Slim gave us all the information and shared his recipes for bakes beans and a sweet with maple syrup.
After our tour we stopped in the little shop and bottle several bottles of syrup which are all reasonable priced. I would absolutely recommend this place to friends and family, it is a nice way to spend a morning and have fun doing so.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great family run sugar bush ! Not a huge operation but they care about their product and have a high quality installation to collect, concentrate and purify the sap. Really kind and pleasant people including the new family addition (8 months old) that shows the setup, dragging her mom along :) nice "auld tymes" shack with open kettles steaming away with sap. Recommended! And yes, the bottles were still warm from being freshly filled.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wish we could give 7 stars! What a great experience for our group including kids. They were so proud of their maple leaf branded boards and we all enjoyed the Kettle Boys' banter (not to mention the taffy and samples). Lovely trail walks with information posted on signs to educate us. This place is a gem!
