K	Kyle Paulson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very poor customer service and management. Called a week before I moved to set up power at new place. They said I needed to get the landlord or property manager to call them. I did that and the property manager then told me I need to called them when I moved in so I could be there when they turn the power on. Was moving on a Sunday and they aren't open and don't have a 24hr line. Pets had no heat or electricity and no fridge power for the food. Very poor communication and care for other people's livelihoods.

If you have an account you can use their online website to make changes to your account. You can even set up pre authorized payments and monthly equalization payments. You can also link your gas and electric accounts.

Job well done Considering the volume of properties I manage you have no idea how nice it is on my end get issues dealt with and on to next thing. Fortis both gas electric have always made this very easy for us. Thanks James
M	Macayla Zee on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Called to get my account number. She kept arguing with me saying it was in my emails. I explained that I didn't get any emails. She kept arguing back saying I should get mail. That they sent 6 letter (they did not) so I got really upset and asked her if she was able to give me my account number or the call was a waist. And she gave me the account number super fast. She kept cutting me off everytime I spoke. She also said I need to set up a day to pay I told her sometime next month as everyone in the house doesn't get paid at the same time. So she said if I can't provide an exact day that they cut my power. So I gave her a day, she continued to say that it doesn't work when I "demand a day" yet she literally asked me to give her one.... All the proof is recorded :) my deposit was 700 for being a new client... Someone needs to teach her some costumer service skills :) all of this happened when I just needed my account number. Finally got it after 10 mins of her arguing with me.

S	Sarah Johnston on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’d love to support green in BC but unfortunately, after two planned power outages in a week (where they call but don’t leave a message so it’s a guessing game), this is a poor choice for electricity. The fact that the dams run on natural gas is also a bit of a brain teaser so it’s not actually green energy at all! Don’t install heat pumps people, Fortis is forever ‘fixing things’ and you’ll be left cold, with no power, wet clothes and a thousand dollar bill for meetings you need to cancel at 8:30am, the morning of! Unreliable, interruptive service and poor communication. Exactly what you want in a large corporation that supplies a vital utility!
