About Fort Saskatchewan Veterinary
Dr. Monica Bosnyak earned her veterinary degree from the University of Calgary. She was part of the first graduating class of 2012. She joined the Fort Saskatchewan Veterinary Clinic Ltd in May 2012 and has bought in as a partner with Dr. LaFrance in April of 2016.
She grew up knowing she always wanted to be a vet just like her grandfather. She has an interest in small animal orthopedics and dentistry and has focused her studies in those areas since graduating from Veterinary Medicine.
Beyond work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children and doing agility/water trials with her Portuguese Water Dogs Micah, Aryeh, and Keziah. When she has the opportunity, she enjoys travelling and summiting mountains such as Kilimanjaro and Machu Picchu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We love Fort Sask Vet. We live on a farm and our dogs had multiple porcupine encounters this summer (3). Dealt with them all as last minute appointments. Amazingly. And didn’t traumatize my dog enough to not do it again ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I drive here from Edmonton to get my pets looked after by the amazing staff and vets! Always super friendly and helpful!! They are very informative and explain everything with options. It's well worth the drive and I know that my dogs and cat will be well taken care of here :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Used to take our pets here. When our cat became seriously ill we tried to rush her in. They wouldn't look at her said sorry all booked up. Got her into another vet and found out she had to be rushed in for emergency surgery. She would have passed within the day. Will not go back.

I live in Sherwood Park and make the drive out to Fort Saskatchewan because the care and attention my cats get is second to none.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been bringing my two mini dachshunds (just one now) to this clinic for almost 15 years. They are incredibly professional and treat both the owner and the dog with tremendous respect. All the staff are fantastic. They are always super busy but take the time to treat you and your pet individually. My one dog has had some issues lately and they always manage to fit him in within a few days. The same dog is also pretty anxious around other dogs and that is never a problem. He is always brought in when other dogs aren't in his area. I don't know what I would do without this clinic and the wonderful staff.
