With the current state of available service people, almost anybody with BST can find work in the security industry(including myself)?. It is true that some people require more training to have the ability to maintain minimum standards as expected by the industry in general, but most of us do our best to stay within the limits that are expected by our employer. As an employee with basic training, we receive a wage that is just a notch above minimum wage.($16-17/hr). Our job description involves maintaining a presence and observing and note taking. Any problems we observe are reported directly to our employer or to 911. Hands on performance requires another level of training but also comes with a higher pay level. Personally, I enjoy the interaction with people in general. Most are happy to have us maintaining a presence in the area they are visiting. Some feel threatened. We deal with drug addiction, alchoholics and mental illness, along with those that have a developmental disability. It can be a thankless job, but there are a few that thank us for our service as we work along side Frontline workers. It is a great retirement gig. Be kind, be safe.?

The company as a whole is amazing. I have worked for a few different companies over the years and most are about money, Footprints isn’t just about money, they help their employees with anything they can.

My manager is a stand up guy, I would like to give 5 stars, but the owners of the company are too cheap to deserve 5 stars. There are a lot of things they could do a lot better, to make the turn over of this company a lot lower.
