★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Parts changers, not mechanics. This is more a tow truck shop than a repair shop, and it's literally in a wrecking/junk yard. They're not professional mechanics AT ALL. I trusted them with performing a basic general inspection and they couldn't even get that right. Ended up costing me thousands and thousands of dollars. If you need your vehicle towed or your battery changed these guys could probably manage it. But I wouldn't trust them with anything more complicated than that, and if you do, don't say you weren't warned.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Locked my keys in my truck while in Sobeys that is right across the road from the Foothills shop in Rocky Mountain House. Phone foothills, they came right away which was good. The guy that showed up was on the phone the entire time that he was there which I felt was unprofessional. The driver unlocked the door in a matter of 2 minutes (while still on the phone). I did not have AMA, the cost was $86 which is pricey. I was impressed that they came quickly, but the driver being on the phone the hole time was concerning and also the price was more than double what I've paid for the same service from a different provider for the same service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super helpful and able to quickly sort my issue; I needed a replacement rim for one that was damaged. I called ahead to make sure they had the wheel I was looking for, when I arrived I discovered that the replacement was not a direct match, we found a better match, and I actually have been meaning to go back and buy the other 3, because they are similar, not the same and in better nick than the ones I have!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small animal crawled up into my engine while camping and a belt got unlodged. Broke down 9km west of nordegg. Kevin, one of their tow guys came out on a Friday, good guy. Had to wait the weekend,but they got my car up and running before noon on a Monday. Good shop, good people, won't build up expectations, and won't do work or replace parts that aren't needed. It's no wonder these guys have been in business for 40 years. If you need a tow while out camping, west of red deer ,these are the guys. Remember to smack the hood to get any small creatures out of your engine.
