★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Foothills seems fine. They answer emails and calls promptly. Their costs are good and there are enough options.
There is, however, a big problem with retail electricity costs in AB. My Foothill electric bill is very reasonable. My total electrical bill is 15 times the Foothill portion. Something wrong with an electrical distribution system that costs 15 times the actual cost of the electricity???

Never an issue, costs are reasonable and if I call them, I get to talk to a real live person who answers any questions immediately and efficiently.
