R	R.J. Crocker on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice store - clean, bright and open, everything was easy to find. Some items were limited, e.g. not much variety in frozen veg. In-store bakery items were great. Staff was friendly. Perhaps a bit pricey.

They claim to be unable to order or stock any item not dictated by their corporate office, even if the item is stocked by other stores(Sobeys) in network. It's also hard to get custom or bulk cuts of meat. There's a high turnover of staff, and the long time, middle management types seem to detest being interacted with. The kids they keep on cash are a little distracted, and only the older staff members seem to not react with angry discomfort when you use basic sign language.

Management refused, said they will not ask people to put on a mask. If Foodland will not protect the health of the people of Winchester, I will not shop here again. Very disappointed.

Amazing experience with friendly staff, great selection, and supports/stocks Canadian brands like Shaw's Ice Cream and Covered bridge chips - which are hard to find in the city. Staff are smiling, and acknowledge you with a friendly greeting as you pass by. It's a big box store, with a small box feel. Highly recommend for fresh produce and great quality meat. They have an amazing selection of hot and ready made meals as well. If you are passing through the area, definitely worth stopping in and checking out what they have - you will be pleasantly surprised if you are accustomed to the larger city grocery shopping experience.
