Visited here recently with family to dine in. Wonderful atmosphere, roomy if you get a booth and the decor is very nice. Due to Covid there were very few guests when we arrived at around 5pm, and fewer staff too but that's to be expected. Waitress told us to sit wherever we'd like. Food did take a while to come out and it is a bit on the higher end of pricing, but it was hot and fresh, the portions were pretty generous and it was all delicious! One of us has a peanut allergy and the waitress was very knowledgeable about the ingredients that go into each dish, reassuring us that they used only vegetable oil. I ordered the osmanthus lotus for dessert, and when I commented on how good it was, our waitress gave me a free sample of the syrup they use on it to take home. Overall great place to eat out with family or to treat guests!

Came here for a family dinner; did not know Shandong cuisine this good existed so close to Square One. Ordered the Baochao Yaohua, the Xiaolongfen Steamed Pork, and the Xiandanhuang Sweet Potato for dessert. Food: the Yaohua was fresh and the meat generous, great balance of ma and la. The buns in the Xiaolongfen were fluffy and fresh, and I enjoyed the hint of sweetness that complemented the fat in the tender meat. Overall impressed that a Shandong restaurant can nail these two classic dishes. Atmosphere and service: warm and efficient with no frills. Manager came by and checked on us, along with a sample of their Blueberry Shanyao dessert. Impressed that the ceiling was finished - many places skimp on this nowadays. Was a little odd being a table of 2 sitting in the middle but with COVID there wasnโ€™t really a choice. Value: Price is reasonable for what you get - fresh, flavourful and decadent Shandong food. Will be coming again for the Songshuyu.

Peking duck was ok.. had better elsewhere but price was also higher. Service could be better. The wait staff must of been having an off day or was really tired.. had to ask several times before they brought the item over. In all I would go back.

We ordered steam pork bun and fried vege bun. Both are very tasty. The steam buns are very spongy and the fried bun is lightly crispy and vegetables stuffing taste is just right! Definitely will come back to try other dishes

This was my first time going to this restaurant and the food was good but expensive, especially the duck. I really liked the decor and atmosphere of the restaurant. The waitress was good but the food seemed to take a long time to come out. The food portion size was good and it was tasty and fresh. Thanks.

Traditional Chinese style decoration is beautiful and you have to use WeChat to put order . Food was good but no surprise , and the shrimp was not so fresh. Price was a bit higher(~$30 per one) considering the service (no service in fact) . Btw, a bubble tea shop shares the same entrance and it tasted good if you like Asian style bubble tea.

It was our 1st time visiting Foodie North. We ordered 5 dishes and 1 of them came arrived cold, very disappointing, the other dishes were very good, so we have given a 3 star. We arrived at round 4pm for dinner when there was only 1 table of 3 guests and another family of 4. So it wasn't considered busy, yet the servers took a long time. Overall the food good tasted very good.
