★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went there for dinner today and from the service to the food, everything was awesome. Food was excellent and full of flavours. The small-eats ( which is a great idea) is a wonderful. We’ve got to eat so many things and the portions were of a good size - enough to be shared.
Nivedita is such a nice and attentive person. Daniel, the manager, is a very humble and hospitable person. He came to check on us several time and made sure that we were taken care of. The level of service there is excellent.
Most important was that - every precaution is taken to make sure that guests are safe. The cutlery was sanitized and packed. The restaurant was so clean. Before and after our meal, we got a hot towel each which was packed individually to clean our hands. The towels had a nice fragrant. Even the music was nice.
I would definitely go back there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such an amazing experience when I came to the Mississauga branch of Mandarin for the first time.
The manager came up to everyone individually and thanked them for coming and made himself available. All the staff were very sweet. Service was super speedy and professional.
Food was phenomenal and hot! I wish I was not so full so I could everything twice over.
Can’t wait to come back!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So for anybody who is curious, (currently) the only branch of Mandarin that is opened in Mississauga is the heartland one. I arrived here at 4:45 pm, had the whole place to myself for the majority of my time here.
On the weekdays, Mandarin has their smalleats menu where you pay as you order (like any typical restaurant). They implemented this due to COVID restrictions. But on a positive note, it’s a sustainable technique since you and the brand reduce food waste! On weekends (including Friday), they have their open buffet (their usual practice). But it definitely gets packed and hectic (maybe call in advance?)
If you want a more relaxed, less crowded environment, I would recommend the weekdays.
If you’re someone who is money conscious or wants to go to Mandarin for the whole buffet all-you-can-eat experience, definitely go the weekends!
The servers were great! My server was Nivedita, she was very accommodating, super nice and we had great convos tbh. I was also greeted by Charles Zhang (managing partner) and really appreciated the time he took to talk to each customer that was there. They’re really open to feedback and just super welcoming :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's been a year or two since I've been there but the last few times I went never disappointed me. I went there for my birthday too this one time! This restaurant is my favorite and I'd literally live there if I could, the food is 5/5, its so clean service is amazing and even the bathrooms are spotless. Even though I haven't been there recently I'm sure the restaurant has only gotten better since I've last been there

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was told: buffet wed-sunday, but they will be open for buffet on the week of may 2nd. we stayed and ordered a la carte. great prices for the size. much bigger than we imagined, about $3.99 on average.
