N	Nick on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Im surprised this store is passing inspections. When I walked in, it was an absolute mess with rust and dirt everywhere. The owner came up to me and asked what I wanted and I said I was just looking. She then told me to get out. What a rude and sad woman.

We weren’t allowed inside since we refused to promise to buy something when we don’t even know what she sells...but at quick glance it looked dark and dingy inside. Definitely will not be back and will never give her our business. Hope she closes soon so something that adds life and atmosphere to 4 st can open.
J	Jenny Peng on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We parked in the 15min loading zone to buy ice cream from John's Breakfast which was a neighbouring store. The owner of this store immediately came out to yell at us for parking in the loading zone because it was close to the entrance of her store, even though we did not block anything. She said things like "you better only park for 15min" and then accused us of parking there "on purpose" and saying "I know what you're trying to do" among many other accusations that we did not want to address as we did not want to escalate things. This behaviour is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. It also hurts business from neighbouring stores that do not deserve this. Loading zone parking is city property, not store property, and she has no right to accost us like this. On top of this, she was not wearing a mask and yelling at us, which is very inappropriate during the covid pandemic. Lastly, the items from the store (which were displayed outside) looked like they were old/ used, and at first glance, I actually thought this was a garage sale. Overall, I will never support this business given the inappropriate behaviour from the store owner and the poor quality items. I would give this business 0 stars if possible.

The owner made me feel bad for her because no one was going in and it looked like she was trying to make an effort to attract customers.... However, she refused to let me in the shop because she didn't want me to look around and not buy anything. She demanded to know what I wanted to buy. Worst customer service ever. I just walked away. I'm not going to support that kind of business.
S	Sarah Straub on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was walking past this store and the very rude owner ran out and yelled at me for getting "too close" to the stuffed animals on display outside, and said "do not touch!!" I was not even going to touch the display. Then as we were walking back to our car later on I was walking on the other side of the sidewalk and she came out and yelled again about not touching her stuff. Again I was not even close to her store or even looking in her direction. I would never go into this store, and support this business after this experience AND especially after reading other terrible reviews this place has.

I live in the neighborhood and like a lot of you, have had a less than pleasant experience with this place. I have since found out that this was just like any neighborhood corner store years ago. Husband and wife running a small business and working hard to make a living until a tragic loss happened. I would have made similar comments about the owner, but now I understand. Hope this sheds some light.

We have two young kids and were already unloading when the owner came out and harassed us for parking in “her” spot. There is clear signage and the street parking belongs to the city. I understand that the owner may have some mental health issues, but that doesn’t mean we should put up with harassment from her. We try to buy local wherever possible, especially around the area as we live close by, but there is nothing convenient about this convenience store.
