d	donny richardson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I specifically went there for a couple of sale items. They were sold out. I was going to buy some chicken. The chicken was room temperature. All I could think was food poisoning. As a matter of fact all of the meats looked terrible.
T	Travis Eveland on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ --0 STARS-- They treat you like a criminal at self checkout, even if I was stealing something you can't physically stop me from leaving so why impose that I'm a thief. There's nothing I find more personally offensive than being accused of being a thief. Absolutely pathetic you treat customers like this. I would say you lost a customer but not like companies care anymore about how their customers experiences are. Teach your employees respect maybe. Because even if I was you couldn't physically stop me from leaving. So the least you could do is focus on customer service WHICH is lacking everywhere these days. Just most other places I'm not insulted by the employee.

J	Jason on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The only reason for the two star rating is due to the extremely friendly store owner, outside of that- the assistant general manager comes across very sleazy (lies about mismarked pricing to avoid having to give the discount + scanning code of ethics). I have often come across items that expired months prior that they continue to sell at full price. I emailed their head office about this and never received a response. Employees for the most part are rude and do not wear masks properly (especially the older gentleman who works in the produce area, as he never has worn it correctly). I am not sure how this business receives as passing grade from the health unit, as it is not the cleanest store.

Prices are much higher, the produce area always looks dirty and the quality of their fresh foods has dropped significantly. Always seems to be disorganization somewhere in the store. Hopefully it turns around because I liked this particular store.

Staff are friendly and in overheard conversations manager always speaks kindly to staff. He is friendly and helpful with customers without hesitations. I have 3 Grocery stores to choose from of equal distance from me, food basics Jalna is always my first choice!
