★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My car broke down and the bill was more than I could afford to pay. Luckily Focus Financial was able to help me out with a few hundred dollars until my next payday. I wasn’t sure how to apply but the friendly girl on the phone talked me through the whole thing. I was shocked at how simple it all was. I’m glad I now have a place to go in a financial emergency.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredibly disappointed with the service I have received. I applied for a small loan, was told via email that it was declined; with no explanation, while I met all of their loan criteria. I emailed back several times and have yet to hear anything from them.I am also now unable to access my customer portal on their website, which is concerning as they have access to my personal and payment information. I do not recommend this company as they don't even reply to their potential customers about their concerns.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I tried to apply for payday loan and was denied. They have the worst customer service and no one bother to call me. Five stars from a bogus company online. I had better service from Money Mart who the largest in Canada. I will never recommend this company to know one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Learn to treat your customers with respect and have ethical approval processes. Stop declining someone because ontario allows 3 payments. Don't trust these people

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This company has bad business practices. They will let you loan and on the 3rd loan ontario makes them allow you to pay it back on 3 payments. At this time, they will decline you and make you wait just so that you have to loan and pay back all at once. This is unethical.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very slow service and although everything on their website, app and voicemail says no documents required by fax or electronically, they asked me late in the day (22 hours after my initial application) to email them sensitive documents. The whole purpose of applying was they claim to be fast and take no paperwork. Why should I put paperwork on the internet for hackers to steal my identity? I would have considered faxing but they waited til the 11th hour and then asked for emailed paperwork. Very disappointing service. I cannot recommend I think it’s suspicious. If the CRA and government get hacked so could they!
