★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Coolest place in Penetang. Delicious food, craft beer (by the growler) and a decent whiskey selection. If you are ordering takeout, try the Smokehouse Box: perfect, juicy fall-off- bone ribs, wings and pulled pork with amazing sides, which feeds three hungry people. Can't find better value than this. See the website for the online menu and ordering: you will not regret it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was our 54th wedding anniversary and we wanted to celebrate with a lamb dinner. The only place in town that had lamb on the menu was our local Flynn’s Pub. We order 2 dinners and it was absolutely delicious. The meat fell off the bone and the way it was prepared was really tasty. There was so much, that we had enough for lunch the next day. I can’t say enough about the friendly staff or the delicious food! Well done!

BUT the operation of this establishment is unacceptable. Very poor service / long wait for food !! Establishment far exceeds the limits for cutting off intoxicated customers. They just don’t. A small place with far too many fights and simple assaults making others fear fearful caught in a small place between fights. They’re far more concerned with profit vs customer safety and satisfaction. Not an occasional occurrence hence I’ll never be going back !!!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We got 4 items off the tapas menu tonight. The chicken spice bag, halloumi fries, shredded corned beef, and the tater tot rasher poutine. All four were amazing!! Really well made and the portions were bigger than expected. And you can’t beat the price. I highly recommend these. It was a perfect New Years dinner. I really hope this tapas menu stays around after New Years! Really really yummy!!!?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We decided to visit Flynn's pub today, after a 5 hour wait at the local hospital. We were greeted warmly upon arrival by our server. The service was great, and our food was served up quickly, and it was delicious!
We tried the wings, and fish and chips, both were really terrific, and better than your average "pub grub". Servings were hearty, and pricing was more than fair.
The place started to fill up, as we enjoyed our selections. Obviously, this is a spot favored by the locals, as it seemed more like a house party
than just a pub. Delightful visit, and we are already planning to return with friends. DON'T MISS THIS GEM! You won't be disappointed.
